We, the Staff of GWCI, recently came up with the idea of starting up our own annual Event, in order to honor and pay respect to those who have passed on, and those who have been effected by such events, and other similar tragedies, such as mass destruction and harm. This of course, was partially thought up, due to recent/on-going tragedies, such as the disasters in Japan and the Libya Civil War. So, once every year, on the 11th of April, we will not charge a single piece of gold for any of our services, and we will pay particular respect to those who have been the victims of tragedy and chaos, around the world. So if you would like to reflect on anything relating to this theme, or even pay your own respects, then please feel free to do so. HOWEVER. The utmost respect must be used, as, with such a particularly sensitive theme, we will not be tolerating any forms of disrespect.

-bows head- I CRIED when I saw that on my tv. I was like... GACKT... AYUMI...... then...... omg everyone... no one was safe ..... i hope everyone was safe in somewhat..... I understand something like that has a death toll..... I know how they feel when hurricane Katrina hit..... its nearly the same thing..... a 45 foot wave hit Waveland Mississippi. To go through that was a nightmare....and yes I did go through it just like a lot of people i know did. Wednesday not sure what channel they are showing what happened in japan from live videos when the first quake happen to the rest of the destruction....Luckily I am off work by that time and I will be watching it.... will streaming tears..... Since I went through Katrina.... I understand exactly how they feel.
We had split up family and housing damage, people going chaotic, and searching for a miracle.... omg ... im crying now... those poor people....Im glad I will be able to watch what happened and i so wish i was a billionaire to donate every penny to them. <3 FIGHTING

I say RIP to Haiti. They're still in trouble, though people got tired of hearing about it. After the earthquake, they had to deal with a growing epidemic. With people living on the streets, disease ran rampant.
Thinking closer to home, I live in Iowa. Known for Tornadoes. Over the weekend, more than dozen tornadoes touched down. They destroyed countless homes and other buildings.
Times like these, hearing about Haiti, Japan, Libya, and those living no more than an hour's drive away from me, makes me realize how blessed I am.

During times of great tragedy we feel horribly powerless when it doesn't seen there is anything we can do to help. Thank you for creating an outlet for some of the pain and frustration. heart

I pray for the victims of Haiti and Japan, but I want to ask you to pray for my aunt that just died. She didn't die of any serious tragedy like Japan or Haiti, but she meant a lot to me. So, please?
