Hello, members of GWCI Guild. My name is Davo, and I will soon be the new CEO of the Gaian Wedding Chapel, Inc.
Not too long ago, me and Bobby Dillon came to the mutual agreement over the price of the GWCI. Some of you may have already heard the news, while most of you have not. We had intended for the exchange to be kept a secret until a proper agreement took place. That way, there would be no objections from the crew. You do not own the guild; therefore, you have no say in what happens to it.
That being said, I do not technically possess the guild yet. Since I am paying Bobby Dillon a large amount in exchange for his guild, we have decided to use a third-party trader. This person will accept the guild and accept the gold. Once he has received both, he will distribute each to the respective owner, and the trade will be complete. This is to prevent either side from being scammed.
I am taking this time to note a few major changes before I officially own the GWCI. I see that a majority of the crew have been terribly inappropriate and unprofessional. I am announcing a dress code that will be put into effect by April 14th (when the trade is complete) to ensure a proper appearance to potential customers. Too many members are dressing in a way that I find offensive, and I will no longer allow it. Pictured below is the uniforms you all will be required to wear.

Of course, if I catch anyone complaining about the uniforms or refusing to wear them, that person will be promptly fired and removed the guild. You are to wear these uniforms for as long as you work for the GWCI. Since you now know the rules, this is now your responsibility. There will be no warnings.
Furthermore, nobody is allowed to talk in the guild if it is not work-related. We are running a company, not a playground. The Play Room and Rolplaying Theatre subforums will both be closing down; find somewhere else to roleplay and chat while you're off-duty.
While you are on-duty (mandatory, non-negotiable shifts of no shorter than 2 hours per day will be determined at a later date), you are required to be working your assigned job. If you are not working your assigned job, you are required to be working with the Event Committee. If you are not working either of those two, then you are not working at all, and you will be fired.
The Events of the guild are now only to be directed towards potential clients. Every member must participate in some way, even if it is only advertising. Any problems within the event (such as the previous St. Patrick's Day Event fiasco), will be traced back to the source (in this case, the person who first suggested a zOMG! event, as well as the person who was in charge of training the findable characters), and that person will be reprimanded. The more professional we are in events, the more likely we are to get more customers.
Mandatory meetings will be held each week. If you do not attend, you will not be paid for that week. End of story.
Lastly, every member of the GWCI must advertise the guild in their signature, and post a minimum of 5 posts per day outside of the guild. You will not be paid for this, and it must be done during the time you are off-duty.
I understand that some of these rules might be a bit harsh; it is not my intention to upset any of you. However, running the GWCI is the Gaian equivalent of running a Fortune 500 business. It will require a high level of effort and a persistent professional attitude. That doesn't mean the guild has to be all doom and gloom; after everyone is settled in, we will discuss vacation and sick days in the first meeting. You will all receive double the time off this trimester, just so you have time to get accustomed to the new system. Please clear 3 hours out of your schedule to attend the first meeting to discuss the status of the guild on the 18th of April, 2011.
