So I started working on my 2nd plushie.
You may have seen the first...
Anyway, it started like everything else in my life, with math!
I chose to make a 20cm sphere, which of course gives 62.8cm circumference. I went with a hexagonal ball construction, which makes each segment 60 degrees across, but to allow for the seams I made it 65. That gives about 12cm width for each slice, and the length is half the circumference or about 32 cm.
Using those numbers I drew the template:
Started cutting them out...
All cut out!
Now I started sewing them together, that's half of them...
Done! I stuffed it with some towel to try it out hence the lumpiness.
Of course that last seam stays open until the very end when it'll have to be closed after stuffing the thing properly.
Can you guess what it is? (without looking at the album title...)
Right now the plan is to start adding the face details and then cut out holes where needed to add the vents.
