So yeah... I'm gonna post my art to be CRITIQUED and to be told what's wrong with 'em, please. Now, this is as realistic as I go. One thing is bugging me about this: she is my classmate, therefore is supposed to look fourteen. Why isn't she 14? I was bored in class. Still drawn in class. Still drawn in class: Girl Genius fanart. Critique this yo. dA in sig. :3

Well, the first was good, the second was just weird. Seriously, can anyone bend their body like that? And the third and fourth were... Odd. But, all of them were very good. Don't worry, my drawings never turn out as intended...

I think the first piece is really well drawn. I think she might look older because of the fullness of her lips and maybe her hair, which is styled maturely. Things that you could possibly improve on are the eyes. The shape of the irises and the lack of eyelashes. You might be able to improve there. I think the nose and face shape are really well done. :]
I'm not sure what to say about the others. I think they also have their good points, but overall I find the poses awkward and not-quite-right. Body proportion on the bottom two seems well-done, though.

Eyelashes, I never draw those. xDDD Yeah, I have no reference and can't do the poses myself (in class). They be weird.

Also, I think she might come across looking older because of having a longer, leaner face. People tend to see round faces with plump cheeks as being the ideal youthfullness, so that might be something? I have a face like that, plus a button nose, so even though I am almost 21, I could probably pass for 15. A lot of it is our perception.
