Day 2
On the second day, eveyone returns to the inn. Bartheyamus is still angry from the previous night, and it shows. Willow comes out acknowledge the group, but instead sits at the front desk and begins drawing pictures.
The group begins to talk about what happened the previous night with the hollow, and then decides to talk about their weaknesses once again, since nothing really got said the first time. Willow doesn't want to do this, and whines; Bartheyamus gets mad again.
Finally Willow explains that she can't really remember what happened in Blackthorn Hollow to make everyone dissappear; though they don't really believe her. Bartheyamus gets mad
again. (even kicked a stool across the room, dangit)
Willow continues drawing; she then shows them a picture of a burning woman, saying that it's important. The others examine it, puzzled. Bartheyamus asks if there were any burnings in Ireland. Willow tells them that there weren't. Bartheyamus goes up into his room to meditate, obviously not please with Willow's answer.
The group goes on without him. Willow goes to her desk and checks the collection of newspapers that her mother once kept. She finally finds a newspaper with a heading that reads:
Man Charged With Hanging Escapes; Kills GuardsThe group is satisfied with this information, but are soon discouraged when they can't find the date on the paper.
To looks for more clues, the group goes back to Blackthorn Hollow (without Bartheyamus). Once there, they hear eerie singing and are confronted by
Rumia (demon) who wants to kill them (duh).
Once seeing the girl's red eyes, Willow goes a little crazy and faints after attacking herself with a rock.
A new character comes:
Roga (demon). He watches the soon-to-be-battle from a distance, but Rumia soon appears on top of the building beside him, asking to play.
Meanwhile, Willow wakes up (sort of) and turns into a black snake; then sets of to attack her own companions. She targets Cyra, who has to turn back into a human from her wolf form in order to defend herself. But after deciding that these foes are uninteresting, the not-so Willow turns on Rumia and begins to attack.
Rumia, by now, has stolen Suwako's abilities, and launches a horde of frogs on the snake, who easily avoids the attack. It bits all of the frogs and they turn into black mist. But Rumia uses the mist against the snake and makes it very dense. The snike gets out of the mist, and then turns into a small sparrow, who then turns back into Willow.
Eladriel (elf; elemental) then comes and decides to help the group. But Rumia dissappears, and so they all go back to the inn.
Roga, follows the group to the inn, hoping to thank them for their help.
Once back at the inn, Willow asks Eladriel what he is there for. He says that he is investigation the reason everyone dissappeared from Blackthorn Hollow. Bartheyamus greets Eladriel and they talk quietly while the others worry about Suwako, who was injured by Rumia.
Roga comes into the inn, and Willow gives him a room. Sayomi tries to help Suwako, but things end up getting worse. Roga goes to the graveyard to confront Rumia and ask for a cure. He end of giving up his body in return for a vial of holy water, and instead takes the body of an adder (which he replaces later with the dead body of another person) He returns and gives the cure to Suwako who drinks it and heals.
They get a new guest;
Ruby (dragon/human). Willow gets her a room.
Then, a new guest:
Finn (half-demon) comes into the inn and steals Willow's keys. Rachel confronts him and he returns them shamelessly. After getting her keys back, and putting them safely in her pocket, she falls asleep (it
is getting late).
Finn talks briefly with Cyra, and finds out a little of what happened the previous day. He then spots some of the minion frogs trying to carry water up to Suwako's room, and helps them up the stairs. Once in Suwako's room, he finds her as she is getting ready to leave. When asked where she is going, Suwako says she is going to ask Rumia a few questions.
Finn is excited by the thought of adventure, so he goes with her into Blackthorn Forest and they confront Rumia. She tells Suwako that she has taken her powers and that she is pretty much useless now. Saddened, she returns to the inn with Finn, who isn't very helpful.
At the inn, the others ask Suwako what is wrong, but she doesn't want to tell them. She goes up to her room.
Finn then asks the group what has gone on. Willow decides to only tell him a little of what has actually happened.
