Okay, so I just got a Wacom Bamboo Fun Pen & Touch that came with Photoshop Elements 7.0 a few days ago. Before I got the tablet, I did all my artwork either on paper or in Gimp then used the Paths Tool to line it. Which took forever. I was looking forward to getting a tablet because I thought inking would go a lot faster... It's not. And I'm guessing it's because I just got the tablet so I'm not quite used to it yet... Even though it feels like drawing on paper, which I've done for years, but whatever... Currently, I'm just making sketchy pictures with my tablet, but I don't want them to remain sketchy looking and messy.
So my question is if you guys have any good ways of inking in pictures using a tablet Pen and not the Paths Tool. I realize I probably just need practice, but I'd also like advice as to how I should go about practicing it... As stupid as that sounds.
Thanks for any help, and sorry if this doesn't make much sense. I'm terrible at explaining things... ^_^"

Just practice doing separate lines. Have a style in your head and draw it. Say choppy, smooth, flowing, or just straight and plain. You could always practice drawing avatars here to or just stuff you see on your desk.
