I was saving this new study until the first day of the new year, but I cant wait anymore I need to read the word. It's driving me crazy.

It is The One Year Bible.
It's an NLT Bible.

I got it from church years ago.
Although back then everything was over my head and I never read it.
But now I've changed. =)

I will be posting questions, so if you want try to answer them. =p
When I feel like I have enough answers for a question I will mark them out like this.

~~QUESTIONS AND STUFF~~
#1. Sinners have no place with the Godly.
So what about that once saved always saved stuff?
What if you get saved and you turn away, are you still going to Heaven?

#2. And remember where it says that God created the animals and stuff, what about caveman and dinosaurs?

#3. If he is a God of love then why is he so rough with his punishments?

#4. God created the Earth but what about the other planets and universes?
Why are they here?

#5. When God told Abraham to circumcise his son so he would be a part of the covenant. Why do others do it? Do we have to do that? I mean if God wanted it done then why didn't he make us that way so we wouldn't have to do it?

#6. Wait doesn't God say that incest is wrong?
Laban and Jacob are related and Laban gave both of his daughters to Jacob.
He married Leah and well he messed around with Rachel.
What is up with that?

#7. I thought the Bible said that piercing your body was wrong. If that is so then why did Rebekah have a nose ring?

#8. So... They were talking about working on the Sabbath... Is it a sin to do stuff on Sunday?

#9. How do you speak against the holy Spirit? Is it like saying "GD the Holy Spirit?"
Wait what is the Holy Spirit? Where did it come from?

I will be studying Genesis 1:1 - 2:25
Psalm 1:1-6
Proverbs 1:1-6
Matthew 1:1 - 2:12

Oooooo the Creation is one of my favorite stories. ^^

I saw where it said that we are all created in God image. =c
this makes me sad, I'm not going to lie I am a bit of a bully. I do make fun of people I may not say it aloud but I think it in my head and that is just as bad as saying it.
In a way I'm making fun of God.
That makes me upset.
i need to work on stopping that.

And remember where it says that God created the animals and stuff, what about caveman and dinosaurs?

I also read the story of Adam and Eve. I like that story.

And I also read the story about Mary Joseph, and Jesus.
that is a good story to read around this time of year don't ya think?

Then they also give you a Psalm and a Proverb to study.
In a nutshell they were basically saying that sinners have no place with the Godly.
So what about that once saved always saved stuff?
What if you get saved and you turn away, are you still going to Heaven?

Right now I'm still in bed so I can't give proof for this stuff, but if I remember, I will later: There was no cavemen, that is just something to go with the evolutionist's theory. It was Adam and Eve, then everyone else like them, no cavemen. Also, dinosaurs are an animal, that was made during the seven days with the rest of the animals, so I don't really understand your question on that part. sweatdrop

If you are saved, then go back to being a sinner, all of your righteous acts will mean nothing. Whether they'll go to Heaven or not is up to the Lord who will judge us when we die.

I think that Dinosaurs existed long before Adam and Eve were placed on earth. My opinion is that the earth was not created in 6 literal days, but rather 6 different time periods. And animals of all kinds, dinosaurs were placed on earth before Adam was.

As for cave man, they probably existed after Adam and Eve, and Adam and Eve could have been cave men themselves. All cave men are are people who dwelt in caves. I'd imagine that at certain points caves were the best place for mankind to live.

What about all of the human corpses that they have found in the glaciers.
They are billions of years old.
There are caveman corpses and along with artifacts in many museums.
I remember seeing a documentary about it on the Discovery channel once.
I've also saw them at the museum years ago.

i have been busy, however i will update this starting... Now!

I will be studying.
Genesis 3:1-4:26
Matthew 2:13-3:6
Psalm 2:1 - 12
Proverbs 1:7 - 9

I don't like that Cain and Able story.
It's sad. ;_;

Also i think that God was a bit harsh with his punishments... I'm not saying that what Adam and Eve did was right but dang, What God did was harsh.

Also with the whole snake thing, when God took away it's legs.
Ok one snake deceived Eve, and it wasn't really even a snake it was the devil in disguise. So he is going to punish all of the other snakes because of that? Again harsh.

If he is a God of love then why is he so rough with his punishments?

I feel like doing another study today.
I was watching a special about Nostradamus and the whole 2012 fiasco.
It scared me so I'll just turn to God now.

Studying...
Genesis 8:1-10:32
Matthew 4:12-25
Psalm 4:1-8
Proverbs 11:1-13:4

With reading this I feel that God has told me that this whole world ending in 2012 is a lie.
It says clearly that God will never destroy the world or living things again.

It's the same reasons why your parents give out harsh punishments to you. God is our Heavenly Father. He disciplines those He loves. There is a verse in the Bible that says some thing not to be offended if God reprimands you or some thing like. (I probably just butchered the verse). There is also another one that talks about if you love your kids discipline them.

As to Cain and Abel, Cain deserved what he got because he murdered his brother out of jealousy. Punishments from God are always given according to the offense. They are just and they are right, even if we do not agree with them.

The world will not end in 2012. The Bible says that no man will know the hour or the date as to when Christ will return, which means we don't know when the world will end. I personally don't worry about it. No Christian should worry about the end of the world, because it brings us that much closer to being with our Heavenly Father and Jesus again for eternity, which will be so much better than living here on this earth!

Circumcsion is still practiced by the Jews. As Christians and being under the New Covenant, males no longer have to be circumcised to be in the covenant. Paul talks about how we are now circumcised in our spirits (Can't remember the book or the chatper though, if some one else knows, can you post a reminder for me? thanks!) Males of any religion can be circumcised even if they aren't Jewish. It's a matter of personal preference to some.
