Who do you think would be the best actor / actress for the roles in 'The Hunger Games'?

I would think that a good actress for Katniss in the movie would be Saoirse Ronan. She was the main character in The Lovely Bones. But if Kristen Stewart gets casted as Katniss Im not going to see it.  Saoirse Ronan

Oh no my vote for Rue is Maddison Pettis. She is everythign the book says. Little. Dark-skinned. And she looks 12. PERFECT MATCH!

i think this person would LOOK like the katniss, but not sure if she could act as katniss.

I like that except for Rue and Katniss. It just didn't click for them like it did for the rest of the characters.

In my opinion they cast movie perfectly. Jennifer Lawrence has the Katniss' drive to survive. Anyone see Winter's Bone? She was incredible. Josh Hutcherson was amazing as Peeta. Liam Hemsworth was perfect for Gale he has that playful but protective side to him. Woody Harrelson was awesome as Haymitch. He played him the way I imagined when I heard about the character. And Elizabeth Banks was perfect for Effie. "THAT IS MAHOGANY!"
