In a universe of many worlds, there is one world, called, The World That Never Was. Inhabiting that world, are these things called Nobodies, who serve under Xemnas and Saix. Nobodies have no hearts, but there is one who might as well have a heart. He has feelings, especially for a human girl from Destiny Islands. This girl travels from Destiny Islands to Twilight Town, and can go to other worlds. She has a key blade, and fights heartless. She has met Axel on several occasions, and doesn’t like him all that much, knowing what he is. But one day, she has to fight three very large Heartless, she loses, and as they are about to take her heart, she is saved…by none other than Axel. After that, she seeks him out, wanting him to help her, wanting him to be around her. When Xemnas and Saix get word of this, they send more nobodies to destroy the human girl. What will happen?

He is actually collected, intelligent, and even somewhat overconfident, one of the best actors of the organization. He is also a really good liar. he has a very laid-back, "go with the flow" outlook on many things, including missions and battles. But he also is shown to have a very kind, heartful side, ironic because he is thought to have no heart. He even mocks his ability to feel towards his death. Out of the whole Organization, Axel is probably the most difficult to read. One never knows what he is thinking (as Lexaeus likes to say) or whose side he is really on. Most of the time he seems to be just messing around, but he may have done more thinking than everyone else combined. Axel tends to avoid eye contact when lying. Lastly, he also doesn't like to talk about his past, and changes the subject when people try to bring it up.<br/><br/><div class="postcontent-align-center" style="text-align: center"><b>My life before now:</b> Before, Axel had been a kid named Lea. Lea and Saix's Somebody, Isa, had been best friends before, and they was often in a lot of mischeif together. He was known as a trouble-making kid and was often interupting Isa's schedule to go mock-fight with Ventus. Somewhere along the way, he was turned into a heartless, but his strong heart allowed him to become a nobody. The organization found him and that's where Axel came to life.
