Gracie likes to sit beside me while I paint. Sometimes right on top of my paper. Some people might think this is a sign of affection, a desire to be close to mommy. But I know better. Gracie WAITS.
For a day like today.
I've been working on a painting for three days. I'm put the finishing touches on it. I just got out of the bath, so I am squeaky clean and pretty. And finally, the water cup I use for my paint is sludgy and dirty, and it needs to be changed. Gracie stands up. Places her nose against the cup.
IT WENT EVERYWHERE.
But I know how you work, kitty. I moved the painting four seconds before the spill. Even though my table and I are covered in paint, my work has not been lost. crying heart

Pervert. blaugh I just changed clothes and cleaned up the mess on my desk. Gracie bided her time until I was up against a super hard boss in a video game before she struck again. All snuggling up in my face... I saw cat whispers and heard my character scream and die. >.>
