No matter how, you lucky few secured passage on a trading ship called "Mi Bella Maria." It was a fine, spacious ship, with a crew member capacity of 12, who worked to load and unload cargo, and keep the ship working. However, seeing as the ship's a cargo ship, there's no quarters for travelers, so you had no choice but to sleep and rest on the deck.

You traveled for 3 days, into the sea, until you reached what seemed like a wall of fog. It was one of the few things that kept ships well out of these lands: they had no way of knowing what was beyond them. The captain didn't drop the anchor, but would curl the sails, so the ship was ready to move, but would not be moving (not as much as if it had full sails anyways.)

He would get off the wheel, and would walk to you. He was a human, mid 40's, short hair and bushy beard, both graying. He had a captain's hat and greatcoat, leather pants and boots. He was also smoking a pipe, which he poofed every few seconds. He kept a very nice silvered rapier on his hip, and a very visible flintlock stuck between his belt.

"Right, this is where we stop." He would say, with a gruffy voice, "wait a bit, there'll be a ship comin' in to take y'all to mainland. Small fishing ship, but a very strange one. When you see it, you'll know which one it is. We will sail around these here parts every 3 days, just in case y'all decide to head on back to ol' sweet home or if you need stuff from back home. Other than that, y'all be on your own over there. Take care y'all, and may Pelor's light guide you and keep you safe. If you need me, I'll be in the cargo hold." He tipped his hat, and entered a door, where, unless a party member would seek him, you won't see again.

Few things to note about the campaign:

1-I will not ask you to do skill rolls unless absolutely needed. I will leave WHEN to roll WHAT to your judgement.

2-Remember that Action Points will recharge on a short rest, which might change in the future or not.

3-There won't be much use for gold in this time in the campaign, so be creative and find ways to get your money :3

More will come.

Rosco Greengage, sans massive backpack, would await eagerly on the starboard rail of the ship, his eyes peeking over it. The Halfling was very interested to see this 'you'll-know-it-when-you-see-it' fishing vessel that was wrapped in as much mystery as the wall of fog.

He practically bounced on the balls of his feet, gripping the railing excitedly, as if in his mind, he was going 'ohboyohboyohboyohboyohboyohboyohboyohboyohboy'.

Fasrogen looks over the gunwhale, his chains snaking around his arms and across his shoulders. He has been quiet for most of the journey, trying to keep as low a profile as a hulking chain-clad man can.

Darben hardly listened to the captain. He caught the important information but was desperately trying to keep himself out of trouble. His nature was to sneak around and touch things that wasn't his. And the endless possibilities of what could be on this ship was.... invigorating. But he had to keep calm, he didn't want to die after this kind captain gave them a way to get to the new world, "Fishing ship huh? Well they better hurry, I can't wait much longer to see these new lands." He wasn't talking to anyone in particular but anyone who wanted to chime in was welcome to.

Ariana has spent most of the journey listening to the crew and fellow passengers, but rarely responding. Instead she spent her time searching the sea and sky for some perception of where they were, but the fog was too thick and the ocean to strange to her. This uncertainty made her uneasy, and thus the long trip had not been easy on her. "Nor can I" she replied to Darben, finally breaking her long silence. She gazed distantly over the railing into the fog, "I miss the feel of soil under my feet."

Oris had stood stock still as the captain addressed them. When he'd departed, the deva had walked to the rail of the ship, next to the excited halfling, and continued standing stock still in stark contrast to his shorter companion. The deva's bright clean vestments stood out in the fog, but his black skin and chalk-gray markings seemed almost half-there through the mist, giving him an appearance more ghostly than divine, for the time being. He didn't say a word as the other two spoke of their impatience, he just impassively watched for the vessel that would take them to land.

When first told she would be sleeping on the deck, Kaz wanted to make a huge fuss. She didn't want to sleep on the cold, hard floor of the boat. With the constant rocking and the inevitability of water splashing her in the face. She was far above this type of lifestyle. In her mind, the captain should have offered her his own bed the moment she walked on board! It was actually a little insulting that he didn't! She supposed it would have made the other passengers jealous, like that Overworld Elf. Still, tickets aboard this ship weren't easy to come by, so she kept quiet about her qualms.

"Fantastic. This is just what I need. Another ******** boat..." Kaz muttered to herself after hearing the captains speech. She then walked over to where the Overland elf was stood with the Halfling.

"You'll be lucky to literally see, what with this fog and all." She said softly, cocking her lip into a coy smile.

It didnt' take long for the ship to arrive, slowly drifting through the fog, and gently bumping the larger cargo ship to stop. As the captain said, the ship was certainly unusual. It looked as if someone Tied two canoes to long planks and added a sail in the middle. In addition, you could see a wooden crane on the back corner of the boat, with a rope going INTO the water. The boat was around 15 square feet big, and very spacious. It was 20 feet below you.

The only things you see on the ship, other than the crane, are it's pilot, a dark-skinned man with shaggy hair and beard, wearing nothing but underwear and a piece of rope around his forehead, and the anchor on the corner of the ship. He would wave at the people looking down at him, with a big toothy smile. He was missing a canine.

"Jump!" He said, in a simple tone, making the gesture to 'come forth.'

This group made Fasrogen uneasy, and he had spent time in jail. Although it stood to reason that a journey like this would concentrate the strange ones into a tighter space. Ah, but who was he to talk, a thug on the run.
As the fisherman pulled abroad, Fasrogen decided to do as asked and he took a leap into the smaller boat. As he fell, he hoped his weight wouldn't make a hole in the low fishing craft.

"One moment!" Rosco would call out to the captain, waving to him. He would rush to grab his oversized backpack, and he would heave-ho the thing over the edge. "THREE!" he would shout as a warning to the warrior and sailor below. Rosco never really understood what humans' obsession with calling out numbers or birds as objects went flying was, but he didn't want to offend any cultures by NOT doing it.

Immediately thereafter, he would jump without any precautions, attempting to land on his pack if landing in the water wasn't feasible.

Darben had to keep in a laugh as he saw the captain of the fishing ship. His dress was.. odd, definitely odd to Darben. But not everyone was perfect and he wasn't one to judge. He stood on the railing of the ship as he gave a salute to the others, "Aye then mateys I best be castin' off." He said in what he assumed a sailor accent. Then he turned and jumped of the ship aiming for the smaller one.

Arc, you take 7 damage from that jump down to the ship. Not a pleasant way to start your adventure!

Rain, your backpack would've helped you soften the land... if it wasn't full of hard stuff. You take 8 damage, and your a** hurts.

Menozz, your landing was horrible. Once you landed, you fell prone on the ship, and took 12 damage. Ouch! Good thing this isn't a combat round!
