Not a very good title, is it?

ANYWAY

So, we had our Regionals competition last Thursday. I'm in one of two 5A bands in the valley, and we were beaten by three points, BUT we're going to STATE!

Why is this such a big deal?

Last year the judges despised us. We earned ourselves a 53 at our first competition, and then we went down to a 47 at Regionals. (I know, right?)

So, I have this question for you:
Have you ever had an extreme competition disappointment?
Has your band ever made an accomplishment like this?
Have the judges ever hated on you?
