So, me and some of my friends are planning to do some fundraising for a trip for next year! Well..A Youth retreat! biggrin But we are kinda having a hard time coming up with ideas...
The only ideas that we have got so far are...
- Bake sale
- Car wash
- Yard sale
- Bottle return
- Pass out these flier things
If you guys have any ideas..Can you guys please help us..? smile

What are youth does is a dinner and a show. You perform skit and sing songs. You also wait tables. One show sends all our kids to camp with gas money. The thing about this is you have to have 6 months of practices

There's a Time to Laugh "Ephesians 2: 8-9"
you could do an auction of some sort. My church did a pie auction and that pretty much raised all the money our youth needed to go to camp.
And a Time to Cry "Romans 5: 3-5"

Car washes are horrible since you can only take donations. We did that one timeand a guy came up with this huge truck and boat. He only gave us $5.

There's a Time to Laugh "Ephesians 2: 8-9"
Kind of like what gothic said, you can do a fundraiser dinner. Maybe something simple like spaghetti and salad. the youth will serve people and wait tables and such.
I know of a few different organizations that do that sort of thing and it brings in a lot of money even when it's only like a 10$ ticket.
Also to help people invest in this retreat have the kids give a small testimony of what it means for you all to go there?
And a Time to Cry "Romans 5: 3-5"
