I need some advice.
Right now I study horn with a college professor. Although he's a really nice guy I'm afraid when it comes to choosing a college if I don't choose to go to his school he might get angry. He does not seam like the type to get angry about students, but neither did my friends teacher. He got accepted into a major conservatory and got a full ride, and his teacher completely freaked and told him to not even think about going to her school for grad school! Don't get me wrong the school my teacher teaches at is fantastic, but I want to keep my options open because this is a four year decision. Any tips on what to do???

Well, it's your life. He really has no reason to get offended. It's understandable that he might have been glad to have you study at his school, but he should also understand that it's nothing personal against him.
I would go to the school you want to go to, regardless of the opinions of other people. You will make friends at your new school, and your old friends SHOULD be able to get over any bad feelings in time.

I know that it shouldn't be like that but if it does piss him off well.... that'd be really bad because the guy knows EVERYONE who's anyone. I guess the biggest problem is that out of all the schools I've visited and of all the lessons I've had with the teachers there, I like his teaching the most, but some of the other schools have better ensembles. A few of my friends have burned bridges with their teachers and it screwed them over.
