Its about midnight....

Unsure where you are, you are frightened, you have no idea where you were thrown into, unsure how you got there. You don't know how to escape, suddenly someone walks in, seems like they stole the key, they have a cruel smirk and walk towards you, he grabs you and studies you, "...a little small....but you'll make a great slave in no time..." he begins to reach for you with his other hand and you struggle, breaking free and landing on the ground, the key next to you. Enraged, the captor pulls a dagger, he now intends to kill you. As you watch him move ever closer, you hear a low growl, In fear, you look to the source, there is a figure hanging next to you, chains binding its body in every way possible, Its another prisoner that was with you the whole time. You see its sharp eyes glaring at the captor walking towards you. The key is within your grasp, your head is spinning, you have an idea, but you think for a second if it may backfire. Your captor finally gets close and rears up to slash you. And you made your decision...

...But we will start this story the morning before this all happened.....

For several years, two great beasts waged a battle that lasted for several hundred years, both were immortal and could not die, their origins are unknown, neither stood for good nor evil, however some would describe their behaviors in contrasting ways, one would attack recklessly while the other would strike with little collateral damage, Their reasons for fighting are unknown, however some speculate it is an ancient rivalry that existed far before history could track them, when they would clash, it would unleash great energy, chaotic enough to destroy towns villages, they would pursue each other for great distances, every so often the chaos would die down, and when they crossed paths once again they would reignite their never ending duel.

Humans then started planning to find a way to end their dance of death, they searched and found a way to stop them once and for all. They would strip them of their powers. Leaving them unable to cause such carnage. And if possible, kill them.

...The night this was planned for they began fighting in a ruined city, toppling statues and buildings, the two immortals intended to end this battle that night. Despite the raw power being unleashed, the Humans reluctantly moved in. As the two beasts attacked they struck a statue, it shattered at the base and began to fall...right onto the humans. One of the beasts turned and stopped the statue, it was beginning to lift the gigantic monument. The humans, beginning to have doubts about their actions as they saw themselves actually being rescued by the powerful immortal, realized it could not be helped, they began to recite the spell and then struck the entrapped beast with the attack. The other Beast took its chance and attacked the distracted opponent. The Beast attacked by the humans was weakened and began to falter, and dropped the statue, the humans looked on as the spell began to take effect, The beast's body began to glow as its essence began to leave it, taking the form of a crystal, and it shattered, shards falling onto the ground, The other beast, realizing what was happening, then fled.

...The one attacked by the humans fell, as it grabbed on of the shards its power returned to him, The humans wasted no time, they recovered the rest of the shards and fled. Neither of the beasts had been heard from since.

....Since then the shards were kept safe, amongst the victorious humans, some were guarded closely, however there had been a few that were stolen, and with that some humans learned to absorb the shard's power.

...The Beast, now known as Hitonomi, searches the world for his lost powers, and when he reached his original potential, he would end his fated duel. However the other beast had not been seen for several years...It had been about 100 years since the day he was stripped of his powers, only recovering a small fraction. On his travels he meets the most unlikely ally, a young child. Knowing nothing about Hitonomi's past, they will be caught in the most destructive conflict in history. Unless...there may be a way to avoid history from repeating itself?...

Abilities:Most of his abilities have been taken from him, however he retains some of his strength and speed, his reflexes are also above average, He is also able to manipulate the wind, adding to his agility, he also has terrifying fighting skills, allowing him to confront large numbers. As he regains his strength, he will begin to show other abilities and skills.
Weaknesses:Since the accident, he is still immortal, as in he can live forever, however he can now be killed with enough force, he can be hungry, he can thirst, and he can grow tired. He is weak against amulets and spells. And he cannot use his energy as freely.
Personality: Hitonomi keeps to himself most of the time, he bears no ill will towards humans, even after the incident, however he finds them to be rather strange sometimes, unaware of their behavior and lifestyle, since he has been trying to life amongst them, but he still knows what his true goal is, and he will stop at nothing until he gets his powers back, and settles his Duel once and for all.

Abilities: Sharpshooter (as in throwing stones and such). She can cast very basic magic spells, but it's a terrible energy drain on her part, and she doesn't know how to use it well. It seems to work best when she's cornered.
Weaknesses: Not so good at fighting hand to hand; being left alone, especially in the dark.
Personality: Rather quiet and doesn't talk unless spoken to first, but that's just a facade for strangers. Underneath the anti-social part, she can be rather blunt and straightforward, not afraid to speak her mind if needed. She's actually smarter then she looks, but can be rather panicky at times. When bored, she can be found spacing off
Bio: A street orphan, she has unknowingly absorbed a shard, which heightened her eyesight and gave her magic abilities. She's very much confused about it, but doesn't pay much attention to it, just basically trying to survive with the other street orphans she runs into. She still remembers her now deceased parents, but now tries to forget about them as much as she can even though she still has a picture of them in a small bag of belongings she has.
