i hope that's how it's done?
I really don't like drawing gaia avatars, but once in a while I will feel inclined to do so. When I do, I always try to make it somewhat different, redesign or add my own element to the items to make them not so mundane. This was my avatar when she had different hair and I was into my nightmare scarf stage. I then took it and made it my id for my guild here on gaia called "club bishie" rofl
medium is pencil w/the tint/color added in photoshop.

Creativeness: 5 Let it be known that I am not a reviewer who simply "hands out" points. It just happens that this piece, in my honest opinion, is worthy of a perfect 5 points all the way through whee Summary of Results: Style: In my own definition, style is the unique quality that makes one artists' work differ from the rest. I should be able to tell who the artist is by looking solely at the piece of art. This being defined by my standards, I feel inclined to rate j A d e d's style as a 5. Her art work is crisp, fresh and very unique. An anime styled drawing with great detail and intricate design of clothing such as this piece is rare.
Technique: Technique goes hand in hand with style. Many different artists use different techniques or alter similar ones to their liking to make their drawing noticeably theirs. j A d e d earned a 5 point in technique due to her amazingly talented use of "Cross-hatching" which many artists use to make contrasts in shades and shadows, however j A d e d used crosshatch not only as shading but also very effectively as a background. Quite remarkable!
Use of Medium: I am always more impressed by a well-done pencil drawing than a drawing done on a computer based paint program (not to say that I will look down on any art piece that is completely CGed) which is why i was inclined to grade you a 5 in this category. You were able to catch the light source and shadows so well with pencil.
Proportion and Composition: The proportions of the character are very realistic and accurately portrayed. The composition is quite remarkable. The folds in the clothing and the shading work together to create great depth. Might I compliment you on the NM scarf! Beautifully done!
Creativeness: Although this is a drawing of a Gaian avatar which does not require much creativity in character design or clothing, you have successfully made this piece of Avi-art uniquely your own. The design is intricate and detailed. I can tell how much effort you put into this drawing.
Closing statements
This impressive piece of art seems to flow. Your pencil strokes are graceful and have a great contrast of light and dark shades. You have a brilliant eye for clothing, flow, contrast in shades and depth. I look forward to reviewing more of your art work! heart
