Portal free for PCs/Macs on Steam until May 24

There's an excellent offer going on at SteamPowered.com right now. Until May 24th, you can grab the award winning game Portal for free, and it's available for PCs and Macs. You'll need to have Steam installed, but that's hardly anything to complain about.

Portal was widely acclaimed when it was released in late 2007. It won heaps of awards and has a score of 90/100 on Metacritic.com. For anyone who hasn't played it or doesn't already own it, this is a great freebie!

Portal is okay. It isn't exactly something that is going to tip the scales in my buying something else to get it for free thats for sure. xd Besides there are knock off free online flash based games that are like portal.

I bought the Orange Box just for portal razz
I have never seen a portal browser flash game that was in 3D and I can't see it comparing to anything running on the Half-Life2 engine.

One of great things about Portal is the humour anyway.

Yea, I don't see anyone making a 3d version anywho cause usually free 3d flash games suck anywho. xd
I was pondering the idea of getting The Orange Box eventually but there are other games I want that have more vaule to me. 3nodding

My friend told me about this yesterday and I went and downloaded it straight away, I LOVE when Steam does stuff like this! biggrin
The only problem is that I'm not fussed on PC controls but hey, for free Portal I'll get over it xD
