Please, pick a side and debate about it. I'd prefer if you guys could be rational about it, but its cool if you pull something out of your asses.

Besides the fact they they are just allover way-more-epic-than-ninjas..?
How about..?
Have you ever heard of buried ninja treasure? The answer is no.
If ninjas lose an appendage, they don't replace them with freaking hooks.
Or wooden legs.
And they don't wear awesome eye patches.
And cool hats and coats.

Growltiger from CATS was a pirate.
Pirates are badass.
Sure, they smell and are full of diseases, but they've got sexy wenches and people to wash their floors(Well, swab their decks.. same thing).

ninja Ninjas. Because they're subtle, and even Jack Sparrow would lose to a ninja in a fight because the ninja would put him out with poison. Ninjas are legendary, where pirates are too cocky. Plus, while you have awesome pirates like Jack, you also have exceptional lame ones like Captain Hook from Peter Pan.
