So tonight was the comcert/jazz/chorus concert. I am in concert and jazz band. I am not in jazz band class, but I am apparently lead trombone. (Once I actually learn the music, I'll have solos 'n' s**t.)
I got the music yesterday for the concert that occured two hours ago. I worked on 3 pieces (the other trombone told me one of the wrong pieces) and sightread a fourth. But, since I had like, an hour to prepare them, I basically sightread some of the hardest stuff I've ever played.
I love jazz band though. And sightreading in concert.
And we have a festival in like, 5 days.
