Once there was an evil wizard who took 3 woman from their homes and turned them into rose bushes. Each bush looked exactly alike the others. Feeling rather smug he put them in his garden.
One of the woman had a husband and children, who begged the wizard to let her see them. He agreed.
At night, he would bring the woman to her house. In the morning he would come and take her home. This went on for some time until one day the husband decided to go rescue her. Sneaking into the wizard's garden, he looked around and found the 3 identical rose bushes. But the bushes were all alike and he had trouble trying to figure out which could be his wife. Suddenly, he knew the answer and he took his wife home. How did he know which rose bush was his wife?

The bush had been watered more recently? When you put a bush into the ground, you have to water it to get it to settle in. Any gardener knows that.

Let's just say our wizard was a lousy gardener... not the reason... sorry... it was planted in the ground and except for one thing looked just like the other two...

Had anything been done too the bush itself? IE It's losing leaves because of constant transport. A kid plucked a leaf...

Actually, it's a legitimate claim. Weeds and grass will sprout no matter what you do. But okay then.
The lack of an answer to this riddle. I'm pooped.
