So if I work an early shift and get home around 2PM, I sometimes take about an hour nap on the couch. At night, I like quiet in the room, but if I'm napping, I like to turn the tv on (though now that I've read Farenheit 451, I'm a little more freaked out by it). Leaving the Discovery Channel on while I nap causes me to have awesome dreams, which are influenced by what is being said on TV. Last week I fell asleep while the "Planet Earth" special was on, and I kept having wonderful dreams of floating in the ocean while whales and things floated around me. On another occasion, I dreamed that I was flying a helicopter over Alaska with a polar bear hanging onto the chopper.
xd So ATG, if you ever sleep with the TV on, what channel do you like to leave it on, and what kind of dreams does it induce?

It is very, very difficult for me to fall asleep with the TV on. I can't not watch it.
When I have been so tired enough as to fall asleep while the TV was on, I think I was so tired that no dreams were to be had.
Sadness....

TV is way too distracting for me to sleep at the same time as it's bombarding me with its devilish moving pictures! I would probably just end up watching the TV until my eyes bled if I didn't turn it off.
I do tend to have dreams about related things if I've just been watching a lot of something right before going to bed though. I always look forward to my trippy dreams. xd

I don't dream often, I don't nap often... but when I have the TV on, I either have a movie in, or it's on Discovery, Sci-Fi (I pronounce the new name "Siffie"), or Cartoon Network, usually. ^_^

I fall asleep with the TV on. It can get painful, I'll get a headache in the middle of the night. Normally I'll leave it on Teletoon at night as it has shows like American Dad and Futurama(sp?). However if it's 11:30 I put it on Teletoon Retro and watch the cartoon Beetlejuice.
I have issues trying to fall asleep without a TV on as my mind likes to wander to stupid, scary thoughts. However lately it really hasn't seemed to matter. Hmm didn't notice that until just now.
