This is a great film I found made by the BBC, it was a made for television movie so it is not available on DVD yet. It's about a white family in England that moves from an abusive boyfriend to a refuge in a coincidentally Muslim majority city.


A very touching film, it has no subtitles and may be hard for those who dont speak English natively.

There is some bad language, and some nudity.
PG-13 rating. There are red boxes as warnings of scenes ahead of time!

That was amazing! eek It was really sad too. I was so happy when the mother finally made the decision to get rid of him (hopefully for good). Leah was such an interesting character. She went from a closed minded brat to one of the most mature characters in the film.
