A friend of mine recently hosted a Steampunk Lolita meet up to the Maryland Museum of Science, they were having a DaVinci exhibit. I wanted to know opinions on Steamloli, or ideas, pictures if you've tried it, pretty much anything on the Steamloli topic. ^_^ Here is what I ended up wearing to the meet up...

Ohhhh, I'm in love with steampunk!
I think both fashions go very well together. They share some common ground and it makes it a bit easier to mix the two.
Point in case (I say it that way. Makes more sense to me): You look fabulous. xD

I dress Steamloli rather frequently, I enjoy all the pinstripes and emphasis on victorian fashion, its what I do instead of gothicloli since I have a lot of black and pinstriped things. I'm glad I can call it steamloli now XD I was not sure what to call it before.

Wow cool. My friend recently went to a steampunk convention but has no pics. stare He described it, and now I'm super curious. I gotta watch this forum for more pics. Anything you all know about it would help!

Aww!! Why don't you come out to any meet ups though? ^_^ We usually have more meet ups in DC, but we're trying to have more meet ups in Baltimore. ^__^

Ah, steampunk and lolita, two great tastes that taste great together!
In all seriousness, though, I do love steampunk and I do have a steamloli dress, though I didn't call it that before I think I shall now. (Until this point it was just "steampunk lolita") You look wonderfully piratical.

I clearly am oblivious to things like that. haha Do you watch the Maryland Lolita LJ group? Haha! It's called md_grandeur... HERE! We post all announcements about meet ups, pictures, introductions, etc. it's a lot of fun because you meet local people. We're about to have a meet up in DC coming up at the Museum of Natural History in honor of a girl's birthday but everyone is invited. ^_^ Magical Girl Yossy

YES! lol Lolitas THRIVE on Livejournal. XD But not only is there just the EGL community on livejournal they have seperate groups for specific people, like a community for Maryland lolitas, a community for Northern and Southern Virgina, even a group for DC lolitas.
