The anime ended too early and the manga is still publishing so they should make more episodes! 3nodding

Ok, the reason they haven't made another season is that there is not enough manga yet.
The first season covered about 8 volumes of manga. So, my logic is that when about 8 more volumes come out, they'll decide to make another season.
Perfect logic, right?

DUDE IT'S FRIGGIN OBVIOUS THT THEY SHOULD MAKE A SECOND SEASON!!!!!!! THEY SHOULD MAKE 4 MORE SEASONS!!!!!! (including the 1st and 2nd)

Caitlin Glass, the woman who directed and played Haruhi in the dubbed version, announced that so far there won't be a season two. How depressing...Most anime only go up to 26 episodes anyway, so don't expect anything as awesome as a second season.

As heavenly as that sounds, a second season of a great anime is an enormous gamble.
Time has shown us that more is not always better. Ever see an anime that had high demand for a second season that turned out to be just as amazing as the first? I haven't. crying
Example, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. HUGE fanbase. Everyone cheered for a second season. You seen the second season? Terrible.
Don't get me wrong, I'd absolutely love to see a second season of Ouran, but the possibility of it being ruined frightens me into not asking for it.

Aww Kyou-chan~! well yes you're right, but have hope!
But I watched Haruhi Suzumiya, the seccond season and it was pretty okay I disliked the last episode though.
and I agree with you I would be ecstatic if they made second season, but if they turned out ruining it I'd be very disappointed.
As long as the manga is still going I'm fine :'3

I've yet to read the manga, and so I don't fail finals I'm trying to resolve to read it after the semester fully comes to a close. However I have watched the anime and I'm dying to know more, I desperately hope to see another season. heart 3nodding
And as far as the whole ruining it with a second season, should enough volumes come out accordingly to accommodate the release of season 2; there should be no problem assuming the first season had stayed relatively to the manga itself

Hm... maybe. I would like to see one. Not really sure where they can go because it would be odd trying to follow the manga so closely since they took it a different way before the chapters were published.
