Sonic and the gang have gone through many adventures, defeating many enemies. Most have gone their own ways, doing what suits them most. Tails runs a mechanic shop, while Knuckles still spends his days on Angel Island. Many new things have been discovered as well. Like the chaos emeralds there are seven master emeralds as well. Floating islands flood the skies just as continents on the land, and guardians have been assigned to guard each emerald as well as the cities that flourish on each of the islands. One such guardian, Light Speed, has studied intensely in the arts of the Chaos, and has discovered that those able to harness the power of the chaos emeralds have much more potential than any could ever realize.
Mobians could fly as long as their energies sustain. Attacks like Chaos Spear are just the beginning in the chain of offensive chaos attacks. Chaos Control is one of many forms of transportation skills.
Light decided to run an academy, teaching those who can harness the power of chaos, how to use their hidden abilities. However this academy is no typical school. Most students that go there would compare it to a boot camp of sorts. The question now is. Can future students handle the training and conditioning? Or will they quit and run? I guess only time will tell.
