Have you ever been watching a music video and gone< "Wow, that kind of reminds me of this one lolita piece that I saw..." Or maybe thought, "My goodness! I'd absolutely love to be able to use that set for a photo shoot in my lolita clothes!" I occasionally find myself thinking such things.
This Video by Kerli makes me think of lolita meets ballerina meets doll. It's very pretty.

I never really looked at her shoes...They might be painful, but some things look more painful than they are and other things are more painful than they look

I think it's mostly the perspective for the first pair. If you look at her feet when she's seated, you can see that they're just regular platform stilettos. ^^;

The second pair, well. There's a reason you don't see her feet clearly when she's standing in the black outfit. I don't think she had them on for those cuts.

Those shoes aren't meant for walking, if you know what I mean. wink

Having taken lessons en pointe, though, I can say that holding that pose really doesn't hurt your feet if you're laying down [like she is for most of the shots with those shoes], and to be like that standing on your toes doesn't hurt unless you don't trim your toenails properly [you can get ingrown and infected nails if you cut them too short, or not enough]. It's actually worse on your knees than your toes most of the time.
