	In this RP, it’s your job to pick your part and become a star! That’s right! Create a character to call your very own, then choose the sort of role you want him to have! You can choose between five different categories to begin with, and then choose a spot from within that category! But that will all be explained in the Bio Format section, hehe. So get out there and become the talk of Tokyo!!! Keep it PG-13. No god-moding. You can only play a max of 4 characters in total! Please obey the thread creator (Nileregwen DoUrden). 	Tokyo, Japan The top music production companies in the country are preparing for a brand new twist on reality television. With each company supplying a brand new musical performer or band, a showdown is brewing in Tokyo to find out who can become Japan’s newest superstar. But they’re not taking any contestants off the street. Each performer or band has had to struggle just to get their audition. Now, chosen, each group if put through rigorous schedules, photo shoots, music videos, public appearances, concerts… you name it, they’re going to do it! The only problem is… Sometimes personal lives can get in the way of stardom… But if Stardom isn’t for you, then perhaps you’d like to throw your hat into the ring of management?! After all, every good star needs someone to fetch that latte! Where We Are Now... As of Page 54, Post 4 Recently, by accident, NAKO (pianist for the Visual Kei rock band, Hikari ya Yami) ran into Solo artists Ryuukaze and Nakai... which ended, at first, in the three of them seeking solitude (and warmth, it's cold out) in a karaoke bar. JUST as things were getting a bit steamy, Nakai was called back to his studio (NAKO and Ryuukaze have the day off). Sad about that, and with the time on the Karaoke booth running out, Ryuukaze and NAKO headed to the blond's favorite bar. Meanwhile, Taichi (Vocalist for Hikari ya Yami) left SMASH studios with NAKO's phone number and the order to get a hold of him so they can meet. Taichi ended up in the very bar that NAKO and Ryuukaze made their way too. After a few too many drinks, the pianist and violinist, in the seclusion of a private booth, blocked off by curtains, started quite the make-out session. Of course, just before things got dicey, Taishi worked up the nerve to call NAKO. Pissed that his chance at getting laid for the third time that day, had just been shot to hell, NAKO and Taishi agreed to meet the next day. As luck would have it, that little phone call, alerted Taishi to the fact that NAKO was in the bar. However, the sounds of crazy table sex soon made Taishi realize that he REALLY didn't want meet NAKO just now (for fear that the blond would rip his head off for the interruption). About that time, Nakai was finished in the studio and had agreed to meet the guitarist he was working with currently, for a few drinks. This put him in the same bar as the "action". However, Nakai hasn't figured out just who was making those glorious sounds from behind the curtained booth. He has, however, met Taichi and is presently trying to get the vocalist to blush. Meanwhile, finished with their endeavors, NAKO and Ryuukaze began paying the check and quickly headed out from the privacy of their curtained booth. They ran into Nakai and Taichi, both men striking up conversation. It quickly became apparent however, that Ryuukaze had developed a jealous streak, claiming Naoko has his own. As the rivalry between Nakai and Ryuukaze began to get too heated, the very guitarist who had stood up the blond soloist arrived. With Nakai leaving the bar, Naoko suggested to Ryuukaze that they head to a local bathhouse & laundry which he frequents. Thus, the pair bid farewell to Taichi and headed out. It was at about this time that deaf drummer, Ishi, found himself in a bar, knocking back peach Schnapps. During the cab ride to the bathhouse however, Naoko engages in a Q&A regarding Ryuukaze's actions toward Nakai. Not only because the jealousy seems like it could become a problem... but because suddenly, Ryuukaze was treating the pianist as nothing but a piece of meat. A few tears later, the two seem to have patched up their relationship... just in time to get a bath together! Mori, the man who runs the bathhouse, is a close friend of Naoko's from high school. While their clothes are cleaned (clothes that were rather icky from their barroom table escapade), both Naoko and Ryuukaze enter the bath. Things turn playful... and then suddenly dangerous, as Ryuukaze accidentally ends up breathing in a lungful of water. To Naoko's horror, the violinist stops breathing. Having pulled him from the water, the blond fought valiantly to bring breath back to his new found lover... and, just as the ambulance seemed to arrive on the scene, Ryuukaze gasped in a lungful of air, showing that he isn't dead. Relieved, Naoko can do nothing but cry... After some reassurance from Ryu that he's not going to die, the two get their now clean clothes and hail a cab. They get onto the topic of Christmas gifts, after Naoko teased that he was going to get his 'akuma' a portable defibrillator for Christmas. Apparently, Ryuukaze then wants to give Naoko a gift, anything he's every wanted... and that gift turns out to be a tiny black female poodle puppy named Yumi. This, of course, leads them on a shopping spree at 9:30PM at night. Tired, Ryu offers Naoko a place to crash for the night... his place. Intrigued, NAKO accepts the offer and soon falls asleep on the floor whilst entertaining Yumi. Ryuukaze carries Naoko to bed and tucks him in... but can't find sleep for himself! In the morning, Ryu takes Yumi for a walk, letting his 'tenshi' get some sleep, when Naoko's phone rings. Turns out to be Hikari Ya Yami's manager, Scotty, who is demanding that Oumori come into the studio immediately. Letting the man know that he'll be there when he can, and that yes, he would bring the music he had written with him, Naoko angrily hangs up the phone. Ryu returns, and the parting begins... until Naoko realizes he's hungry... and Ryu just HAPPENS to have some whipped cream... Just as NAKO bit into a strawberry suggestively... there is an insane banging on the door and Naoko pleads with Ryu to hide him. Outside the door is Scotty, the man obviously irritated. However, Ryu's next door neighbor Joe, lead vocalist for the Pop Band, Strike Up!, is in awe at seeing the famous manager angrily banging on a door... Thus, Ryu hid Naoko and Yumi in his study and soon confronted the pissed off manager in the hall. Scotty threatened to never give Ryu a moment's peace if NAKO wasn't brought to he door immediately, whereas Ryu denied that Naoko was even there, saying he had left fifteen minutes prior. All the while, Joe is watching, and Ryuukaze even introduces himself to the young man, just to piss off Scotty. MEANWHILE... After being kicked out of the where he had been drinking, Ishi found himself drunk on street corner, unsure of how to get himself home. Kai, choosing to leave the party rather than stay and please some woman he had no interest in, stumbled across the drummer just in time for it to start pouring. Kai then decided that he'd help out the drunk only because Ishi looked handsome. Kazuo, the guitarist for the same band as Ishi (though unbeknown to both), offers his help to the two upon arriving on the scene. Meanwhile Mizu, the lead vocalist for the pop band Le Nouvelle Cauchemar, sits in a cafe, struggling to write the lyrics to his new song. Deciding to abandon the seemingly fruitless endeavor, Mizu leaves the cafe only to come across the group. He too offers his assistance. Nakai was now annoyed that so many people were around him, since he needed some quiet time to ponder his busy day tomorrow. He snapped at Mizu, who then promptly went off to his studio where he falls asleep. After some debate, Kai decides that the best course of action would be to take Ishi, and by extension Kazuo, to the Ritz Carlton hotel across the street,where the receptionist just swooned at the fact that the great Nakai was in front of her and handed him the key to the top suite without question, rather than bring the two to his home. Kazuo followed Kai quietly into the elevator and they rode up to their room. Nakai then put Ishi—who was now asleep—on the bed. He then tossed Kazuo a robe that he could change into. Kai then started changing Ishi, who fought back a little. Kazuo had finished, but Kai warned Kazuo not to come out, for Ishi was currently naked. Of course, Kazuo came out anyways, and promptly blushed and turned around as to not see any more. Kai was disappointed in the reaction, taking that Kazuo was then definitely straight, and sighed, returning to his work. Ishi returned to a dreamless sleep, but the struggling had put Kai in a very assertive and easily mistaken position; he was pinning down Ishi's arms to the bed, and straddling Ishi's waist. Kazuo made the mistake of turning back around and blushed even more because of the position he found the solo singer and drummer in. Kai took the opportunity to tease Kazuo about the situation, focusing on sexuality, even though Kai already was sure that Kazuo was heterosexual. Kai then settled down with a glass of champagne to get his flirting fix for the night. Kai and Ishi ended up becoming quite friendly with one another and by morning, Ishi was on his way to his meeting at SMASH with Hikari Ya Yami. Back at Ryu's, Scott accidentally pushes Ryu down the stairs during his failed attempt to grab Naoko and run. This causes a great amount of panic, and thankfully Joe has experience as an EMT and is able to keep Ryu stable after the fall while the ambulance arrives. When Naoko finally realizes that Ryu will be alright, he leaves, late, for his meeting at SMASH with Hikari Ya Yami's new band members. Naoko finished the meeting at SMASH, delivering a new song to his band mates. Afterward, he was accosted by Nakai on the way back to the hospital. Nakai, feeling mischievous, tried to have crazy makeout time in the alley with Naoko, only to be interrupted by his own manager, Izzy Lucky. This was the first meeting between Nakai and Izzy (who's real name is Ishi Ruki), and it was a rather intense meeting, as Nakai proceeded to attempt to get Izzy to join in on his fun with Naoko. Izzy however, instead of falling into Nakai's plan, made sure Naoko was decent and then lectured Nakai. Naoko however, was frustrated now because this was the second time that his fun with Nakai had been interrupted since they'd met... so he was perfectly ready to go get a hotel room with Nakai... until Ishi appeared. So, as Nakai tried to explain himself to a betrayed Ishi, Naoko left, obviously not happy with this turn out. He ran into Izzy Lucky and the two had some coffee together, while Izzy tried to apologize for Nakai's actions. Naoko confided in Izzy that he was actually torn over being with Nakai... because of Ryu. After their discussion, Naoko headed back to the hospital and Izzy went to get ready for his evening dinner meeting with Nakai. Nakai however, was back at his apartment, hating himself, for his treatment of both Ishi and Naoko. As Izzy was awaiting Nakai's arrival to their meeting, a meeting at a ninja restaurant, he ran into an acquaintance of his... Akihiko Koyasu. As it turns out, Akihiko is the grandson of the Ohayou Studios Chairman, Aki Koyasu. Akihiko is known to the word by his stage-name... Narcissus. He is also a complete narcissist. He loves to screw with people's heads and yet he also thinks that he's god's gift to man and tends to be a total playboy. Izzy had been offered the position as Narcissus' manager by the Chairman, until Akihiko decided he wanted to manage himself. Having run into Izzy, Akihiko began asking him questions and advice for an upcoming tour that he was going to do. It was harmless enough at first... until the musical prodigy's looks and charm began to attract Izzy. As soon as Narcissus saw the other man's interest, he pounced, and tried to to entice Izzy into some fun. Izzy's saving grace was that Nakai showed up. Angry that Izzy had not fallen for his charms (which everyone did), Akihiko left with a stern warning to Izzy. Narcissus returned to a hotel suite that he was renting, and totally trashed the place. He ended up getting horribly drunk, but not before calling his grandfather's secretary, Asato Hiroki, and asking for every scrap of information on Izzy Lucky. Asato arrived at the hotel and literally had to take charge of Akihiko's spoiled behavior. He shoved him into the shower to try and get him sober, before ordering the man some room service and starting to try and pick up the place. He gave Akihiko the files and Narcissus promptly decided that he was going to speak with his grandfather, about making Izzy a sweet offer to become the manager for Narcissus as well as remaining Nakai's manager. Narcissus and Hiroki make a wager. If Akihiko can convince the chairman to let Izzy become his manager, then Akihiko gets to ask Hiroki to do one thing, anything, that he wants. If he fails, Hiroki gets to force Narcissus to perform at a chairty event. Meanwhile, Izzy and Nakai were having dinner and discussing Nakai's future. Kai, of course, was feeling rather down about the earlier events in the alley, but somehow Izzy seemed to make him feel far better. The two began to get along. They're not wanting to jump one another, but seem to be rather good friends, or at least really compatible as far as a Star and his Manager can be seen. Nakai realizes Izzy's got an incredible sweet tooth, and the two retire to a desert shop for an after dinner (dinner was sushi) snack. Back at the hospital, Naoko has returned to find that Ryu was semi panicked because the pianist had been gone for so long. Naoko tried to reassure Ryu that everything was alright, but he ended up feeling too guilty about his earlier actions with Nakai... and told Ryuukaze everything that had happened. Of course, Ryu took the realization hard. Ryu was actually allowed to be released from the hospital at this time, and Naoko took him back to the violinist's apartment. All the while, Naoko was completely trying to make up for his sudden betrayal of the man who claimed to love him so deeply. Another figure took the stage at this point... a solo vocalist who is to become the newest voice for Hikari Ya Yami, Shou. Shou, however, is a man plagued by a split personality disorder (unknown to anyone) and he is ACTUALLY Sai Oumori, Naoko's older brother. No one knows that Shou and Sai are the same person however, not even Naoko, nor the singer's manager, Yamada-san (called Hamu by Shou). After Hikari ya Yami failed to show up to greet their new vocalist, Shou returned to his place and changed out of his extravagant attire and make-up and wig, and became Sai again. He called Naoko, who had just gotten Ryu home, and wanted to meet him in a bar (the same bar from the beginning of the RP). The two brothers hadn't seen one another since Naoko left home to continue the legacy of Hikari ya Yami, and due to their VERY close relationship, Naoko was afraid that this would trouble Ryu even more than the pianist's recent encounter with Nakai. So, Naoko got Ryu home and then told him he would be back. In fact, Naoko lied and said he needed to meet with Scott... Thus, Naoko hurried to the bar and met his brother for the first time in over a year. Sai was the man who pulled Naoko into the shounen ai world, being the seme to Naoko's uke on several occasions. They have an rather incestuous relationship, but they are also incredibly close as brothers as well. When Naoko first joined the original Hikari ya Yami, things were fine. But then he started seeing Hayato (Jun Nagasaki), the band's creator and vocalist, on a romantic level. Hayato became jealous of Sai and Sai's grip over Naoko. Sai would do things like text Naoko, and that simple action would always make Naoko happy, even if it was just a text asking is Thai food was good for dinner (since the brothers lived together). Jealous, Hayato proceeded to kidnap Naoko and hold him hostage at his place for three months. Naoko developed a sort of Stockholm Syndrome, an addiction to Hayato, and feel deeply in love with Hayato. After Naoko turned up three months later at Sai's door, he claimed that he had just been off for a little solitude for a while. Sai eventually learned that Naoko had been at Hayato's for three months, even though Hayato had publicly spoken that he was 'just as worried about Naoko as everyone else' and that he 'wondered where Naoko was constantly'. Sai began to notice marks and bruises on Naoko's body on occasion, and Naoko seemed to be pulling away from their usual relationship with one another, and spending more time around Hayato. Angry at how Hayato treated Naoko like a possession, a toy, or even a dog, Sai confronted Hayato. The events of that confrontation are unknown at this time, but one thing is for certain... Hayato disappeared. In truth, Hayato was in a Tokyo hospital in a coma, and while Sai knew this, he never told Naoko. Thus, Naoko spent all his time searching for Hayato and rebuilding Hikari Ya Yami, completely obsessed with Hayato the entire time (and thus not letting himself actually love anyone, Sai included, but that didn't stop him from sleeping around however). At the bar, Naoko ends up confessing what's happened between himself and Ryu, and himself and Nakai. He tells Sai that he doesn't LOVE Ryu in the same sense that Ryu loves him, but he doesn't want to hurt Ryu either. He confides that he is excited by the idea of being with Nakai, because he and Nakai look so damn similar. Naoko isn't out for a real relationship... he just wants a one night stand, or multiple one night stands with the same person. Naoko is at the point of breaking down because of the guilt wracking him, so Sai decides to take matters into his own hands. Sai hires a nurse to stay with Ryu, and basically kidnaps his own brother, locking Naoko in his bedroom at Sai's apartment. Enraged by the fact that he can't keep his promise to Ryu, Naoko relents and eventually Sai tells Naoko that he'll go speak with Ryu and make sure the young man is alright instead. When Sai leaves, Naoko decides to get a shower to try and clear his head. Back at Ryu's apartment, Sai arrives with the live-in nurse, flowers, and soup. He explains to Ryu that Naoko can't take care of Ryu because Naoko needs to figure out how to take care of himself. Sai feels that his brother is on a destructive path that's only going to end with Naoko going crazy if he continues to be torn between Ryu and Nakai. When Sai leaves, Ryu ends up sending Nakai a message, asking the man to come over if he can. Nakai reads the text message from Ryu and excuses himself as soon as is politely possible from his desert meeting with Izzy. Izzy, understanding, just asks Nakai to meet him at the studio the next day. Nakai hurries over to Ryu's confused as to what's happened, and half expecting a trap since he knows Ryu is jealous of him over Naoko. When he finds Ryu however, somewhat pathetic in the sense that he's injured and sad and scared, Nakai begins to listen as Ryu concedes Nakai the victory and basically tells him that he needs to make Naoko happy. Of course Nakai begins to tell him that he's crazy, because in Nakai's eyes, Naoko just wants to be with him because they look so similar. He tells Ryu that he's always had the same reason for wanting to be with Naoko as well. Nakai says that he thinks Naoko really does love Ryu, but that he's probably confused with everything that's happened. Meanwhile, when Sai returns to his own place, he finds that Naoko is sitting at the piano in the bedroom, in a robe, writing a song. He tells Naoko, after the song is finished, that Ryu should be fine. Then begins an interesting scene wherein Sai tries to comfort Naoko, both mentally and physically. They end up on the floor of the closet... but strangely, Naoko is pushing Sai away. He's acting just like he acted after having fallen in love with Hayato, and Sai becomes angry that his little brother can't give up on the abusive MIA b***d. A fight between the brothers occurs, wherein Sai basically tells Naoko that if he wants Hayato so badly, then Sai won't be around to help pick up the pieces again. To Naoko, he feels like Sai has just disowned him... and this notion causes the already distraught musician to pass out. Angry and sad, Sai tucks Naoko into bed and then disappears. When Naoko wakes up the next morning, EVERYTHING in the apartment except the bed, is gone. Sai's place is completely cleaned out. Laying atop Naoko's clothes (which were on the side of the bed) is a note from Sai that gives him the address and the room number for Hayato. Quickly, Naoko makes his way to the hospital to find his long lost (abusive) love. Back with our "villain", Akihiko Koyasu goes to the Manor of his grandfather and begins a discussion to procure Izzy Lucky as his manager. He convinces his grandfather with the well laid bait that partnering Nakai and Narcissus in a concert tour would not only skyrocket Nakai's career, but draw in a larger crowd and more money. Since the Chairman knows that his grandson doesn't need too much of a manager, just someone to finish up the details, he ends up agreeing. Overjoyed that his plan is working, Narcissus alerts Hiroki to the fact that he lost. Hiroki arrives at Narcissus' apartment and discusses the terms of their wager. While Hiroki is the secretary to the Chairman, Akihiko is actually next in line to become the head of Ohayou Studios. However, due to his behavior, the Chairman has also been grooming Hiroki to become the next Chairman, in case Akihiko ends up becoming too much of a liability for the company. Akihiko's a musical genius, and was so at a very young age. As a boy, he was always alone and he always through he was better than everyone because of the praise and admiration that everyone gave him for his musical talents. He also has a problem trusting anyone with his true feelings. It's because of this that Akihiko tends to test those who will work closely with him. He tested Izzy Lucky by seeing if the man could fall for his charms... Izzy didn't fall for them, thus he passed. And now, it's Hiroki's turn to be tested. This time however, it's a test of Hiroki's loyalty to the company. Akihiko tells Hiroki that his "one thing" that he wants form the wager... is a night with Hiroki. Hiroki agrees, because he's a man of his word. Being a devious seme, Narcissus likes to play mind games, so he insinuates that he's drugged Hiroki's wine and that in about ten minutes, the man is going to be unable to do anything as Akihiko has his way with him. Instead of making the man panic, like Akihiko thought it would, this actually enrages Asato. Hiroki's a bigger man than Narcissus, in height and body mass and Hiroki easily wrestles Narcissus to the floor. The seme has become the uke, and the seke the seme in this turn of events. When the ten minutes are up and Asato has resigned himself to his fate, Akihiko breaks the news to him that he was only planting the suggestion of a drug. There was never a drug and Hiroki did all of that out of his own anger. Ashamed, Hiroki suddenly feels like he's failed the company and the Chairman, and intends to resign. Narcissus then tells him that this is a test of his loyalty, and that if he really does feel the need to resign, then he was never strong enough to stand at the head of the company. Thus, Hiroki leaves the apartment to meet with the Chairman and tell him the truth of the matter. Meanwhile, it seems that Akihiko is sorely disappointed and hell, even sad, about this turn in events. While Hiroki is off telling the Chairman what happened, Narcissus puts on his figurative mask and pays a visit to Izzy Lucky. He informs the manager that he is now also working as the manager for Narcissus. The two actually end up having a decent conversation, and Akihiko gives Izzy a lift to the Studio. As they head there, they have a discussion about Nakai's career and the recent events that the media is reporting, dealing with Naoko and Ryuukaze (because the paparazzi is everywhere, after all). Akihiko recognizes Naoko's name and pulls up the newspaper article on his phone, of when Naoko went missing for three months. He ends up advising Izzy to make sure Nakai has nothing to do with Naoko (even though he doesn't know about the alley scene between them) since the two look alike so much. Narcissus feels that Naoko may become a liability for SMASH due to his recent and past behaviors, and he doesn't want Nakai dragged down because they look like twins. Upon arriving at Ohayou Studio, Izzy and Narcissus go their separate ways, because it seems the Chairman has summoned Narcissus. Akihiko heads up top to speak with his grandfather... who ends up disowning him. All of Akihiko's bank accounts, all his assets, everything the man owns, has now been confiscated from him because of his nightly exploit with Hiroki. The Chairman seems to be doing this as punishment, but in reality, he's doing it to try and teach Narcissus about compassion and love, two things that the man really doesn't understand. Thus, Narcissus goes on a rampage... kind of. Narcissus ends up at Asato's flat, completely privy to the newest media release that it seems Asato Hiroki is going to be announced soon as the new Chairman candidate. Akihiko tries to blackmail Hiroki into letting him stay with him. Asato is, thankfully, being guarded by a bodyguard, because Akihiko actually even threatened the life of the Chairman in their earlier confrontation. Asato doesn't fold to the pressure of Narcissus, and the bodyguard, Sal, ends up beating the st out of the musician and tossing him out. Without money, without anywhere to go or stay, and in a huge rainstorm, Narcissus makes his way to his very last option... Izzy Lucky. Meanwhile, back at the hospital, Naoko is sitting at Hayato's bedside. The man has a 3% chance of coming out of his coma, thanks to the length of time he's been unconscious. He gets a text from Shou, to which he replies, and then the new vocalist calls him. They discuss the lack of work spirit of their fellow band mates. The two seem to be on the same page when it comes to work ethic, and Naoko apologizes for not meeting with Shou today because he's on a hospital visitation. Naoko agrees to do a magazine interview with Shou, as a spokesman for Hikari ya Yami, and also agrees to participate in the Chairty venue (that Hiroki mentioned back during his wager with Narcissus). NOTE: Things at this point are quick and not as well explained because 300 pages have passed since this was updated. This is just things I personally remember, so it isn't EVERYTHING. Where We Are Now... As of Page 347, Post 12 Izzy took a feverish disowned Narcissus into his apartment. Izzy decided to finance Narcissus' career on his own. Akihiko began hitting on Izzy. Hayato woke up in the hospital and Ryu had to convince Naoko that Hayato wasn't good for him. Akihiko learned that Chiyou loved Izzy and that Chiyou's had a problem with alcohol and drugs in the past. Sai disappears and a new vocalist, Shou, appears (they're the same person). Hikari ya Yami disbanded and Naoko and Ryuukaze went to work for Shou (who's assistant is Yamada). Narcissus began getting physical therapy treatments from Michi. Narcissus received an offer from SMASH to sign with them. Chiyou started treating Narcissus like a big brother. During the charity benefit dinner, Narcissus declined Izo's offer, Izzy's apartment was set on fire, and Izzy left the dinner and ended up getting abducted by Hayato under Izo's orders. Akihiko and Chiyou went looking for Izzy. Izzy was left for dead on Ohayou's doorstep Narcissus threatened Izo thinking Izo ordered Izzy's abduction and agreed to do a joint show at the benefit with Shou if Izo didn't touch Izzy again. Narcissus convinced Shou to do a duet with multiple songs. Chiyou fires his manager Nezumi and Nezumi tries to make Izzy think Chiyou's on drugs again (which he isn't). After lunch with Shou, Akihiko was abducted, by Hayato (not under Izo's orders) and was eventually left for dead in the alley of a hospital. Akihiko became addicted to heroine and cocaine due to injections from Hayato during his abduction. Michi helped keep Akihiko stable (due to his drug addiction) during the week of rehearsals for the benefit concert. Izzy confessed his love to Akihiko, but Narcissus couldn't give Izzy an answer back and promised to answer after the concert. At the benefit, Naoko tried to keep Hayato away from Chiyou, and somehow Hayato and Michi ended up having too much fun in the dressing room. Michi is overheard by Nezumi who thinks that he has star potential and sets up a demo recording date. Hayato, Chiyou, and Nakai all performed at the benefit. Nakai and Ryuukaze performed solos before joining with Shou and Narcissus' performance. Worried about leaving Izzy alone with Izo, Narcissus made sure Izzy had floor seats instead of balcony. Narcissus was the 'demon' of the joint performance with Shou (the 'angel'), but during the last number, Narcissus collapsed (the audience thought it part of the show). Akihiko told Chiyou to tell Izzy that he didn't love him. At the hospital Akihiko had a swelling of the brain which caused him to forget the last few months (completely forget Izzy), and have a scar on his head from surgery. Aki steps away from Ohayou for the time being due to a developing heart condition and leaves Hiroki in charge. Naoko, on is way to the hospital to see if Narcissus is alright, gets kidnapped by Hayato. The Hayato that kidnaps Naoko turns out to be the musician Hayato's older brother (the musician and Naoko's former lover is now called Jun, since it's his real name). Jun begins to date Shou (who is Sai and we find out Sai and Jun had an affair before Jun lost his memory). Hayato locks Naoko in the attic and goes and kidnaps Ryuukaze. Naoko escapes, but can't leave the house because Hayato has Ryu now. Naoko, with a pipe as a weapon, swings it at Hayato but Hayato moves and Ryu gets his head cracked open. Naoko thinks Ryu's dead and tries to convince Hayato (who's real goal is to get Jun back as his personal play thing) to call Jun over. He does. Jun ends up rescuing Naoko and Ryu's corpse and murdering Hayato (he shot him when they were kids and Hayato lived, he shot him again and now he's dead). On the way to the hospital for Naoko, Ryu wakes up! He wasn't dead just barely alive the entire time. Naoko trusts Jun now (doesn't completely hate him for kidnapping him and locking him in his closet and abusing him for 3 months) but Naoko turns into a sociopath with a split personality due to thinking he murdered Ryu earlier. During the wait for Akihiko's surgery, Nakai and Chiyou end up having a fling in the elevator. Akihiko eventually goes back home but ends up fighting with Izzy because he doesn't remember Izzy at all. Michi seems to be the only one who can tolerate Narcissus at the moment. Hiroki speaks with Aki about who's going to take over Ohayou one day. He learns that Aki wants a joint partnership between Hiroki and Akihiko, with Hiroki managing business and Akihiko the entertainment section. Aki tells Hiroki that he needs to learn more about the stars. Hiroki visits Nakai to "learn more" and they end up in the bedroom. Nezumi gets Michi to record a demo tape and he gives it to Hiroki. Michi is signed with Ohayou. Nakai tells Chiyou that he's not a 'one man' man and Chiyou's heartbroken and tries to OD on pills but Izzy stops him and gets him confined to a hospital. Chiyou escapes from the hospital. Naoko ends up getting drunk with Chiyou and goes on a rampage, ripping Chiyou's eyes out with his fingers. Wary of Yamada finding out about what he's done, and not wanting Yamada to tell Shou who Naoko now believes is his brother Sai, Naoko goes to Izo and ends up murdering a man for Matsumoto. Chiyou's taken back to the hospital where Izzy and Nakai arrive, and undergoes surgery for replacement eyes. Nakai takes on the role of Chiyou's protector and ends up with him all the time while he's recovering. Narcissus has a tantrum about not being told about Chiyou's eyes and ends up breaking Hiroki's nose. Nezumi comes to talk to Hiroki about Michi and ends up being made Michi's manager. He and Hiroki begin an interesting relationship. To help with Narcissus, Yuuji (Akihiko's cousin) is assigned as Izzy's assistant. Narcissus hasn't been eating or sleeping hardly at all due to his drug addiction so Michi's been with him most of the time. After editing the DVD of the benefit for sale, Shou decides it's vacation time (which he and Akihiko agreed to go on during the benefit concert) and takes Narcissus, Izzy, Michi, Jun, and Yuuji with him to Hawaii! Aki returns to run Ohayou like before and Hiroki is able to take a break, wherein he learns that Aki wants HIM to manage Michi and Nezumi to help with the problems of a corporate takeover of Ohayou fueld by Izo and SMASH (something Hiroki had been battling for a while on his own with Aki gone). Hiroki and Nezumi are able to work on their relationship and become closer. Naoko ends up disappointing Izo and finds himself traumatized by Izo's threats on his and Ryu's lives. Naoko tells Ryu about his wants to murder and what he did to Chiyou and Ryu sends Naoko to a psychiatrist for help. Ryu and Naoko decide they need to leave SMASH because Naoko tells him also what Izo did to him. On the plane, Akihiko and Izzy rekindle their relationship because Narcissus is beginning to have memory flashes randomly. But Akihiko says he doesn't LOVE Izzy, thus rejecting him. Narcissus begins acting moody and hostile once in Hawaii and while clubbing, basically casts Izzy away when Izzy proves he's a terrific vocalist. Shou takes Izzy to dinner on the beach to console him. Jun invites himself along to watch over Narcissus when Akihiko demands that he's going to get a fix. A huge earthquake hits Hawaii, trapping Narcissus and Jun in an elevator and later in a hotel room, while a tsunami washes Izzy and Shou out to sea on a barely functioning boat. Michi and Yuuji took a bunch of survivors up to a hospital, then got in touch with Aki, letting him know the situation and that Akihiko and Jun were alright (they got their cells to work). Akihiko and Jun were rescused, but Narcissus had to undergo surgery again because the reason he'd been so moody was because the cabin pressure caused swelling on the brain again (also why he couldn't sleep or eat, had nothing to do with his addiction like he thought). Shou and Izzy try to fend for themselves lost at sea... for two weeks. Aki, Hiroki, and Nezumi arrive in Hawaii with aid from both Ohayou and SMASH. Akihiko wakes up from surgery and remembers EVERYTHING, including Hiroki's nose, and apologizes. He's devestated about Izzy because he DID love him. Naoko freaks out at the news that Shou/Sai is gone and Ryu has to make sure he doesn't switch personnalities, which he does once and attacks Ryu, but Ryu pulls him out of it. Jun ends up having a conversation with Aki wherein he learns Aki wants Jun to make sure Shou signs a contract with Ohayou, as well as stops dating him, in return for not giving the police the evidence (aka video) that shows Jun was responsible for the attacks on Izzy and on Narcissus (the Narcissus one he didn't remember). Turns out Yuuji is more than an assistant and bodyguard... he's like a ninja! Jun agrees. Jun is confronted by You, Izo's "negotiator" who specializes in torture, especially strangualtion, and ends up convincing Jun that he needs to be a "good boy" for Naoko. Jun reverts back to his personnality when he and Naoko were lovers and wants to possess Naoko again so he returns to Japan with You. Nakai spends a lot of time trying to get Chiyou's mind off the fact that Izzy's missing. Akihiko throws himself into work, creating an entire album at a studio that Aki rented in Hawaii (he can't leave yet on doctor's orders), and ends up having Nezumi as his manager (because at this point they all think Izzy and Shou are dead) Shou and Izzy are picked up by the US Navy and end up in California, staying with Izzy's aunt Crystal (who runs the US entertainment company, MeKa). On the boat, Izzy learned that Shou has two people inside of him, but he's not sure how that works. Akihiko demands a plane and he, Michi, Yuuji, Aki, Hiroki, and Nezumi leave for California. Nakai takes Chiyou clubbing, and Ryuuichi takes Naoko clubbing at the same place. Naoko ends up getting in trouble with some guys and Jun saves him then takes a very drunk Naoko back to his place. Meanwhile, Nakai, Chiyou, and Ryuuichi have some fun in the bathroom of the club, all drunk (except Kai). Sai (Shou hasn't emerged since they were rescued) gets in touch with Naoko, who has just spent the night with Jun, and they agree to go on a vacation when he gets back to Japan. Jun tells Naoko that he's going to leave Shou and that they need to sign with Ohayou, and Naoko tells Jun about ripping out Chiyou's eyes and then Naoko goes dark on him and tries to kill him but Jun handcuffs him to the bed. Naoko dislocates his shoulder before reverting back and Jun calls Ryu. Ryu gets there and Naoko is sent to the hospital. Ryu tells Naoko that he's had enough and is leaving him, but Naoko convinces him to stay and give him one last chance. All or nothing. And they go back to Ryu's and fall asleep. In Cali, Izzy and Shou go to an anime convention, Izzy gets lots of Yaoi goodies, and then Narcissus shows up and begs Izzy's forgiveness and tells him he loves him and then whisks him away. Izzy and Akihiko go back to Crystal's and just talk for a long time, then get a cuddly nap in. Michi and Yuuji decide to go see a movie that night instead of going to the MeKa party that everyone else is going to. Aki calls Hiroki out on his sudden attention to Nezumi and Hiroki says there's nothing between them, devestating Nezumi. Nezumi gets in the limo with Michi and Yuuji, leaving Aki and Hiroki alone. Aki gives Hiroki a contract that, once signed, makes him head of Ohayou, and shows him medical reports that declare Aki has 2 months to live at most. Back at the hotel, Nezumi gets drunk on the balcony. Hiroki tries to apologize to Nezumi, but it doesn't go very well, and Hiroki and Aki leave for the MeKa Christmas Party. Akihiko and Izzy show up together at the party, Shou's at the party too, and You (being sent by Izo to pick up Shou) arrives as well. Crystal, her husband Rukuro, as well as Aki and Hiroki are all in attendance. Izzy sings a song he wrote while at sea and it breaks Akihiko's heart because it's directed at him. Thinking to console Narcissus on the balcony, Hiroki instead makes things worse by telling him about his grandfather. Distraught, Akihiko gets Izzy to take him back to Crystal's. They intend to 'do it' but Narcissus breaks down, unable to focus because he doesn't want Aki to die and leave him alone. It's revealed to Izzy that Akihiko had a twin sister Yuriko and she was murdered by their piano teacher when they were 10 and that their teacher then burned down their house killing his parents and leaving Akihiko in Aki's care. After Akihiko is asleep, Izzy calls Aki to Crystal's house to speak with him. Aki goes, thinking this the perfect time to discuss Izzy's new contract. Back in Japan, Nakai and Chiyou head out for some curry and hopefully fun. Aki ends up in a verbal argument with Izzy because Izzy wants him to love his grandson and Aki doesn't want Akihiko even speaking to him again. Aki threatens Izzy, leaving the contract on the table. Turns out Akihiko heard when Aki said he held no love for him. Broken up, Akihiko begins to leave for the hotel but Izzy stops him and signs the contract because he's promised Akihiko that he wouldn't be alone (and part of Aki's threat was to make sure Izzy didn't see Akihiko again until after he was dead). Exhausted, Izzy fell asleep and Akihiko carried him to bed. At the party, Shou got drunk and You's keeping an eye on him while, at the same time, chatting away with Hiroki. However… NAKO, as he’s known to his currently small fan base, wanted to become a Visual Kei performer more than a concert flautist so… He joined a band with lead singer Hayato known as 'Hikari ya Yami' as the band's pianist. This lead to a romantic relationship with Hayato... which resulted in the vocalist eventually kidnapping Naoko and locking him in his closet for three months. Traumatized from the abuse, Naoko kept up the unhealthy relationship with Hayato until eventually his older brother, Oumori Sai, stepped in. Hayato disappeared, quite literally overnight, and Naoko underwent a mad search for him. To rise 'Hikari ya Yami' to prominence, hoping Hayato would return... Naoko signed onto SMASH Studios. Naoko is a bit of a loner, and most people think of him as having a cold shoulder... but his entire personality seems to change when you get to know him. He can be quite shy, which he tends to cover up with a haughty and disinterested appearance. Nothing much is known about Naoko in the public however, because he has tended to keep his entire personal life out of the spotlight. This includes information about his family (mother, father, & older brother) and his love life. Thus, his fans don't know that he's exclusively gay. Another important thing to note about Naoko is that after he and his, at the time boyfriend, Ryuukaze were kidnapped by Jun's not-so-dead older brother, Naoko tried to save his lover only to accidentally bash Ryu's head in. Thinking he'd killed Ryu, Naoko went insane. After they were safe (and Jun had killed his brother for good), that insanity grew into a blood lust and Naoko ripped the vocalist Chiyou's eyes out. He's been seeking aid for his darker side, but time and time again he finds himself in Izo's PIT and that eats away at his sanity bit by bit. It seemed, however, that Ko's appearance was helping him... until Ryu left him for a college-aged host. Now, Naoko is focused solely on Ko and on his own music... but the insanity within would likely murder both Ryu and his host lover (Kimura Kou) if given the chance. It seems for the moment though, that Ohayou's newest guitarist, Suzaku (actually Jun himself) is interested in the blond pianist. The music he played helped him deal with life, and through his music he found peace and freedom. Once Ryu was discovered, playing on a bench outside of a mall no less, he shot to fame immediately when it was found that he had a voice to rival the siren song of his instrument. The ladies love him, and he is indeed god's gift to women...except for the fact that he prefers men. This, however, he has kept a secret for a very long time... until he stupidly kissed Kimura Kou in public. Of course before this, Ryu was madly in love with Oumori Naoko, but has since dumped the pianist thinking to "help" him and his insanity and fallen in love with a college student host named Kimura Kou. He then moved to America, since his father was American, and lived there until he was eighteen. A few days after his birthday, Kai was on vacation with friends in Miami. He had been taking scuba lessons and he and his friends thought it'd be fun to go with a tour group and dive at the reefs. Everything was gorgeous and Kai was having a great time, until his air tank malfunctioned. Nearly eighty feet down, the young man scrambled to break the surface and in doing so fell victim to Neurological Decompression Sickness, a life threatening type II decompression sickness. Kai would have died had one of the dive instructors not already been on the way to his rescue. Once he was back in the boat, the instructor performed CPR, eventually reviving the unconscious Higuri and taking him in to shore. Kai spent a few weeks in the hospital to make sure that none of the nitrogen bubbles remained in his nervous system and that his body was functioning properly. Beyond glad to be alive, Kai vowed to live every day like it was his last. He then quickly applied to various universities across the world and eventually got accepted to Todai on a music scholarship. He was soon scouted by an indie group when he was nineteen and has been focusing on music and singing ever since. Kai discovered that he was gay a while ago when he was in America, but since he tends to keep quiet about his love life to just about anyone, no one, including his fans, know about it. That being said, Kai separates his work from the rest of his life. He's serious when he starts working, but outside of that, he is usually very assertive and flirtatious, though most of it is just out of sheer habitual reaction to his fangirls. He learned early in his career that fanservice made for great support. Kai is also a perfectionist about himself and will work very hard to get where he wants. Therefore, he doesn't really care about others' opinions of him in the long run. He rarely smiles genuinely, though when he does it's obvious, and can be seen sometimes as sarcastic and cynical. Preference: Gay Position: Uke Background Bio: Ishi Ruki, from the time he was a child the scrappy boy, who had a knack of getting himself in and out of trouble. It was hard to keep him in line and maybe that was because he was bored. He always wanted to have something to do; something to strive for. His parents weren't wealthy but his uncle actually had money and an American wife who was a promotional director in the US Music Industry. The boy only saw his aunt and uncle on holidays but when his aunt talked about her work, he found it intriguing. One day, he actually admitted to her that he thought her job was something he might like to do in the future. And sought to pursue that dream if she'd help him. She agreed to the idea and started mentoring the boy though inviting him to America and showing him the ropes as she worked. His attitude greatly improved during that time. However after a few years him being away during the summers breaks and other holidays,his parents started becoming more reluctant to let him pursue this venture saying he needed to stay home and learn to take up the family business, a local ryokan (Japanese style hotel). Between the arguments and the threats of being disowned, he ran off and decided to seek out his own dreams leaving everyone behind him. After about a year, he landed a small job, as a secretary at a small Indie label in Tokyo. During that time, he worked hard at his job and occasionally even did the work of the promotional manager finishing up contracts with various clubs and other small venues for the group of bands they worked with. They started calling him Izzy Lucky because he had a keen knack of getting what he wanted from people. After a couple of years, he was managing a couple bands on his own. He had to work hard because he wanted to prove his worth and not ever have to look back at his parents' hotel as a means to survive. But even as he worked hard, he started realizing that something was wrong. The Indie Label wasn't covering its bills and they weren't able to pay their bands. It appeared like someone was siphoning money from the business! Realizing that this was a sinking ship, Izzy tried to figure out how he could save himself. Why did this have to happen! What would happen to his career?! In desperation, he called his aunt and it wasn't long before she and her company's attorney poured over his situation and eventually found him a loop hole in his contract. This was a great relief for Izzy but it left him without a job. His aunt knowing he wanted to continued his career, spoke to her connections at Ohayou Productions, and soon he was brought in as a junior manager working with child talents. It was one of the roughest assignments he'd ever had in his life. And he had a feeling his aunt had purposely set this up to punish him for the trouble he had caused with his family. Tough Love indeed because soon he was working almost 24/7 and wondering what other evil things children could do!! Several times he tried for promotions but was denied even though his work was actually exceptional. But one day, luck struck and he received a new promotion! Well...What he thought was a promotion. The offer was for a senior manager position! Nakai needed a manager! Izzy was quick to say Yes. This could be a great opportunity...No more children! Everything would go smoothly now! But...right after his acceptance, his boss was grinning quite a bit. And Izzy stared back with a worried look. He was then told that Nakai was...serious about his work but could be as much a handful as any child starlet. Oh good grief! Nuuuuuuuu! Why of all things!? Is he Lucky? It's anyone's guess! But with gritted teeth and determination he went forward to meet his next....'challenge'. As the grandson of Koyasu Aki, Chairman of Ohayou Productions, Akihiko had everything. At a young age, he began his introduction into the world of music. Scholastics, for him, while important, took a backseat to his musical talent. Thought of as a prodigy in the realm of the orchestra, Akihiko soon mastered the piano, flute, piccolo, cello, and violin... at the age of fourteen. As an junior high and high school student, Akihiko moved onto the more popular instruments and was soon proficient with the Keyboard, Drums, Guitar, and Bass. It wasn't until he accepted a scholarship to a prestigious university that he began to dabble in more traditional instruments, such as the koto and shamisen. Well mannered and polite, to a degree, to those he needs to save face with, Akihiko is in reality, quite a narcissistic individual. He even went so far as to call himself "Narcissus" during his debut on the music scene. Outraged, his grandfather looked to put an end to his career... until he realized how many female (and male) fans his young grandson had suddenly acquired. Enjoying the extra profit that Akihiko brought to the company, Koyasu Aki assigned him his first manager... Izzy Lucky. At least, he was supposed to be Akihiko's first manager... but the young musician had other ideas. Instead, he wanted to go it alone, thinking that a manager would only slow him down. Thus, Narcissus was the only artist at Ohayou Productions that was managed by the artist himself. He is the only surviving member of the Koyasu family, aside from his grandfather, and takes to living in a lavish house that is literally, east meets west. His twin sister, Yuriko, was murdered by their piano instructor when they were kids and not more than a few days later, Akihiko's cousin, Takagi Yuuji (who was in love with Yuriko) accidentally murdered Akihiko's parents in a fire meant to kill the crime confessing piano tutor. In his public life, Akihiko maintains the guise of a lady's man. In his private life however, any gender goes... so long as they love him. Obsessed with how he looks, selfish, and sometimes cruel, Akihiko is truly a spoiled rich boy... But perhaps worse... he's a complete Narcissist... However, all the relationships he has had in the past are nothing compared to the love he eventually found with his manager, Izzy Lucky. He Lives the Visual Kei to the fullest like a supermodel. But with that comes a problem with expectations. He's a high maintenance and demanding performer. It's almost to impossible to contain because once he steps on to the stage, he becomes the music and he expects others to keep up. His voice is terribly infectious and he regularly gets his crowds dancing with the beat. They want to be in his ever changing world. His costumes shift with his moods as well; his clientele know if he's wearing red to beware...seriously. It's amazing to see the cat slide from the sleek to the utterly gaudy within a few costume changes. SMASH has quite a budget in his costumes as he's been called SMASH's living and breathing advertisement. Although Identity with him is a problem. Most bands want to get to know their musicians but SMASH Studios has a strict contract that keeps his name under wraps and it's said only the Chairman has privy to the information. The matters of business have never escaped the man. He's smart....wickedly so. A moody diva that is almost impossible to control with the display of a proud peacock. SMASH has put him with several managers; but most haven't been up to the task. While he's such a difficult project, most have to admit he attracts a lot of attention and air time. He doesn't offer just a performance but a stage show. His life is a theater! This has caused SMASH quite a conundrum because wherever they place him, it can become a hurricane of success or a swarming hell because the man has seems to have unlimited energy and no time for the incapable. They've been looking for the right combination for awhile time trying to figure out how to settle the Peacock. If anyone could see past the cleverly created masks that he has carved out of the mortar of his life they might find a very different man underneath. But most are too busy dealing with the man he shows to even think about what else he might be. As for fans, good lord, they are fanatics and freaks; the most loyal and desperate seem to be attracted to him. And every once in awhile, one or two might be seen draped again his arm. Men and women....most don't even know his preference! And many just fascinate the possibilities of being swept of their feet, if only they could revolve a moment in his world. Shou's true identity is that of Oumori Sai, the older brother of the pianist Oumori Naoko. In an attempt to save his brother from a bad relationship, Sai confronted Hayato and somehow their argument turned into a romantic relationship but a motorcycle accident threw Hayato into a coma and Sai made certain his brother knew nothing of it. The entire affair however caused Sai to create a split personality which became the musician Shou. They share the same body, though Shou doesn't know it (Sai does however), and now the man is focused on protecting his little brother... and keeping safe the small boy, Ko (Takagi Hideo) who fell into his lap. He started as any young man would with a good degree working in the office as a runner and assistant to one of the managers. He didn't have many plans of moving up at the time even though he was determined to help pay for his sister's medical bills, while his parents suffered hard times running small restaurant in Okinawa. His career only seemed to shift when he moved up into a glorified secretarial position for a Sr. Manager in Ohayou. He took on more responsibilities around the office while the Sr.Manager he worked under slacked off. Hiroki wouldn't complain about these things because overtime meant that bills were paid at home and for his sister's health. And while originally he had no ambitions inside Ohayou, he was starting to realize all he could do to make his job and the jobs of those around him easier. He started becoming proactive and organizing things, streamlining transitions, negotiations, and even shuffled around with corporate politics to make his small section of the company shine in performance contests. 2 years in a row his office won the Best Service Award. Even if his boss had little or nothing to do with it and received Hiroki's award. But these small victories hadn't gone unnoticed and one day, Hiroki was pulled into an office meeting with a group of managers and the Chairman of Ohayou. This was an odd situation especially when a premier vocalist showed up as a client; one that had been very difficult to convince to join Ohayou. It was in these talks that Hiroki asked to speak and the rest was history...The vocalist signed with Ohayou and the Chairman took the young man under his wing as his personal secretary. Now...15 years have past from the day he joined Ohayou. He's probably the most knowledgeable person beyond the Chairman himself about what goes on within the Company. And as an unwavering man at the job and has had many confrontations with Koyasu Akihiko over the years. Needless to say, some have even whispered that he's being groomed as Ohayou's next Chairman. If so, what could be said about the grandson who seems to be the heir apparent? After the death of Koyasu Aki, Hiroki was given control of half of entirety of Ohayou (the other half given to Koyasu Akihiko) as well as the grand Koyasu mansion. However, Hiroki's character has changed greatly due to a devious plot from the chairman of SMASH, Matsumoto Izo. Using the musician Azriel, in the guise of Narcissus, a kidnapping took place and Azriel began to process of, quite literally, brainwashing Hiroki to a degree. Now Hiroki is in bed with the enemy and while he has found happiness in that bed... it has also given Izo the beginnings of a grip on Ohayou. This was fine with Jun, who's real name was never known to anyone he met after finishing high school. Being on his own, meant making money. When he wasn't the vocalist for his band, he was a Host at a local bar... a bar that catered to men specifically. Putting his grace and charm to the test, Hayato became an expert at masking himself and lying. Not only that, but he even procured a few supporters for his band, via his clients. His personal life habits were extreme however, and there were few partners whom he found that could deal with his incredibly dominant seme ways. At least until a gifted pianist seemed to show an interest in Hayato's "exploits". The two got along terrifically in the band, and worked up a good friendship prior to taking their relationship up a notch. Realizing though, that Hayato wasn't going to be able to have NAKO all to himself, courtesy of the pianist's elder brother, Sai... Jun devised a plan. He simply kidnapped Oumori Naoko one night after they'd been to the clubs. Hayato kept Naoko in his apartment for three months, until he was sure that the young blond wouldn't run off on him. In fact, he made damn sure that Naoko was infatuated with him completely. After letting Naoko go, things went back to normal for the band itself (after all, they had been without a pianist for three months). However, it seemed that Oumori Sai knew what had happened, or thought he knew, and eventually, a year after Naoko's original kidnapping, Sai confronted Hayato about it. Sometime during that evening... Hayato simply disappeared. He turned up the next day in the hospital, unconscious and in a coma, without anyone really knowing who he was. With a 3% chance of regaining consciousness, Hayato's faithful Naoko has finally found him once again... Things became confusing for Hayato after that, because he greatly desired Naoko for his own again, but the pianist was involved with the violinist Ryuukaze by this time. Biding his time, Hayato released his romantic frustrations on a kidnapped Izzy Lucky, and then later did the same to an equally alone Koyasu Akihiko, giving he musician a near fatal drug overdose in the process. As chance happened, not long later Jun ran into Shou... whom he realized was actually Sai, and a romantic relationship struck up between the two. Jun changed his ways but Koyasu Aki, the Chairman of Ohayou, uncovered who had nearly killed his best manager and his grandson and made a deal with Jun... Ohayou would give Shou and his band safety, but Jun would be no part of it. Thus, Jun broke off his relationship with Sai. Or rather tried to. Not long later, in an apology attempt, Hayato went to a small town onsen after Sai and during an assassination attempt on the SMASH star's life, Jun died of a heart attack. Or at least everyone thought he did, including Matsumoto Izo. Now Jun is Suzaku, a guitarist newly signed to Ohayou... and it seems his eye is on Naoko once again. At the age of 10, an agent got ahold of a video of Chiyou singing and contacted his mother, asking if she would be interested in signing him on to be a professional performer. He had the look, the voice, and the potential. His mother had seen to that. Chiyou rose to be one of the top child stars to ever grace the stages, screens, and radios of Japan, but it was at a cost. At the age of 16, he had his first drink. At 17, he tried drugs for the first time. By 18, he had been in and out of rehab three times, posing all sorts of problems for his label and managers who did their best to keep him out of the celebrity gossip magazines. It wasn't that he wanted to be a bad person, really, but having lost his entire childhood, he had become something not so pleasant. It was really all a desperate plea for attention. Seeing as his mother had disappeared after stealing away the majority of his income before he became an adult, that was no surprise. The only semblance of family he felt he had left was his former manager, Izzy Lucky. In Chiyou's mind, though, even Izzy had abandoned him. If he had his way, however, his dearest manager would start to recognize him again. He would see to it. After the collapse of Narcissus at the Charity Benefit, Chiyou struck up a romantic relationship with Nakai in a hospital elevator. Kai enjoyed the 'kid' and his flirtatious ways, but wouldn't commit to an actual relationship. Not long later however, a half insane Naoko ripped Chiyou's eyes out. Blind and alone, Nakai couldn't just leave Chiyou like that and instead stayed with him. Now, it seems, the 'kid' has gotten what he wanted because Kai has finally agreed that they are, well, boyfriend and boyfriend. While he did good there, he eventually worked his way up the ladder from glorified day care worker at the company... to assistant to one of the company's best managers, Izzy Lucky. Prior to his stint at Ohayou, Yuuji spent a year as an intern with an American production company and, thanks to that, speaks fluent English. He also picked up a few tricks of the trade, including a somewhat (at times) dramatic personality. Yuuji loves his family and has always been a straight man. So... working with a throng of gay and bi stars... is probably going to be quite the learning experience for him... As a side note, Yuuji does have a bit of a secretive past. It isn't known to many, but Yuuji is actually Koyasu Akihiko's cousin, whereas Koyasu Aki is his uncle. Yuuji's grandmother had a severe falling out with her brother (Aki) and has since not spoken to the man. Of course this puts Yuuji in a bit of a pickle because he grew up visiting the Koyasu household and was actually one of very VERY few childhood friends that Akihiko ever had. Yuuji also possesses many very... unique talents. His repertoire is endless it seems, and he likes to think of himself as a Jack of all Trades... while others just wonder if he's a Ninja... In his past, Yuuji had been in love with his cousin, Koyasu Yuriko. Her murdered nearly destroyed him and in a rage he tried to kill her ravager... only to accidentally kill Akihiko's parents in the process. Koyasu Aki covered it up and sent Yuuji away. He returned as an adult to work for Ohayou, but along the way it was found out that Takagi knew things he shouldn't (via spying) about rival companies, mainly SMASH. Thus, Izo had Yuuji's son, Takagi Hideo, kidnapped and tossed into the PIT in order to buy Yuuji's silence. Luckily, Yamada Haru rescued Hideo and put the boy in Shou's hands to protect under the name of Ko. Since this time, Takagi has been shadowing Akihiko and Izzy Lucky, has been given divorce papers from his wife (which he has yet to sign; the loss of their son devestated her), and is questioning his own sexuality. With Koyasu Aki's declining health, Yuuji stepped up to take over the duties of Chairman and is now quite eager to pass those duties off onto Hiroki once more. Knowing Hideo is Ko now, thanks to Akihiko and Izzy Lucky, Yuuji is just trying to keep his son safe as best he can. However, tragedy made Takagi spill Koyasu blood once more and, in order to save his cousin from the dying grasp of a senile old man... Yuuji murdered Koyasu Aki. Ishihara began working as an assassin for Matsumoto when he was still a lower ranking Yakuza crime boss in high school. He's been doing the man's dirty work ever since, including kidnapping Hiroki Asato for Azriel's benefit AND masterminding the kidnapping of Takagi Hideo (Ko), though the boy never met You in the process. However, one thing is for certain, You is a very devoted employee who takes care of various 'accidents' or 'messes' and is sometimes thought of as to be the lead 'cleaner' for Izo's activities. On the outside though, Ishihara is the Vice President of Public Relations for SMASH... and as much as he would like to leave the spider's web and steal Haru away to safety (for Matsumoto hates Yamada) he has yet to figure out a way to freedom. A few notes on some modifications that have happened to Ishihara are needed however, because he has keener abilities than most. He's a wonderfully talented sniper, prefering the urban environment to the natural world itself. His eyes can see through the dark, thanks to a modification by the PIT's "Doctor" and those eyes glow red, or would if he didn't wear contacts to hide the color. However the "Doctor" also modified him recently in another way, an unauthorized way... giving him a heightened sense of smell and tampering with his senses so that he would be attracted to Shou. This newest alteration is something that You isn't aware of beyond just a heightened sense of smell. His voice rivals that of both Shou and Narcissus, and his similar features to Narcissus himself (Akihiko's character image is GACKT whereas Katsu's is Gackt during Malice Mizer) make him an immediate draw with the female crowd. His dark tendencies and bloody gothic fantasy mixed with hard rock and ballads are tailored to be perfect for counter-balancing or even surpassing Shou's realms of mystery. Little is known about Shinichirou Katsu's private life but it is rumored that he's spoiled on by the higher-ups of SMASH. His emergence into the world of music, and his suddenly best selling album (which peaked on the charts during the weeks where Shou had gone missing in Hawaii) has been welcomed by the media and feared by critics of the politics of the industry. With two stars in top billing, Azriel's fame has put a new dent in the struggle for Ohayou to keep SMASH from taking over. And as Azriel's fame grows by the day it seems... so does Izo's profits... Now a days Katsu enjoys his time as 'master' over his 'pet', Hiroki Asato, but the young man is starting to question the concept of "Love". Having been thrown into the PIT at a very young age, he doesn't quite understand the world outside and he's enjoying Hiroki and Kaito (his stage manager & room mate) and their attempts to show him the world. However, Azriel's loyalty holds strong to Izo above all other things and it is still not quite clear if his "love" for Hiroki is real or an act. NOTE: Katsu's true identity is Matsumoto Katsumi, the affair born son of Matsumoto Izo and Koyasu Kaori (Akihiko's mother). Katsu has no knowledge of this however. NOTE: In regards to the Buddhist symbols next to his stage name, the first is the Manji representing universal harmony and the balance of opposites, while the second is the Enzo representing the infinite void and Satori (enlightenment). What he wants he takes and what he can't get, he removes the obstacles in his way until he does get what he wants. He doesn't play fair...he has very little honor, and no moral compass. Although he's smart enough to realize that these traits are not welcomed by the public so he appears much like any normal business man to make sure he can move around within society. Izo is obsessed with his top grossing stars. Especially one by the name of Shou. But another star, Azriel is showing a lot of promise and is becoming a distinct new talent. Izo would like to see a star that could eventually outshine Shou. But whether or not that happens remains to be seen. Izo tends to be more lenient with his profitable stars and lets their creativity be unaffected by his darker ways. The more they earn the better their chances are of being protected from Izo's worse nature. Beyond his obsession with his Assets, Izo has been slowly acquiring other Music Studio Rivals. His last acquisition was Indie. Now his eyes are set upon his greatest Rival - Koyasu Aki and Ohayou. Whether or not he achieves his victory remains to be seen. However, if one reaches into Izo's past they might find a few things that are unexpected. Searching for these tidbits that could change the course of an Empire could prove quite dangerous. The world around Haru is strictly business with every one of his coworkers. So efficient that his work is rarely questioned even if Matsumoto Izo has a distinct dislike for Haru. Why? The main known reason is that Haru has kept Shou's contracts clean of all of Matsumoto's schemes. But there are others hidden in the veil. Izo suspects a few things but has never been able to pin them upon Haru, who remains quite clean. Considering Haru's main contract is with Shou rather than Smash, Izo doesn't have direct control of the man. There is only a signed addendum to Shou's contract that makes Haru an 'official' Smash rep. Thus, he has a bit more freedom than most managers in Smash's stables. His title is Assistant to Shou. The word Manager is not said around the Star, who has a deep dislike for all of them except one...Izzy Lucky. Haru has several agendas that are encompassed by a dark secret. One he keeps close to his chest. He found himself tossed into the world of the PIT. Luckily, Ono was a survivor and he clawed his way to the top... by falling down. When he learned of the notorious Doctor within the depths, Takashi knew he could carve out a niche for himself with his own medical skills. His first chance to assist the Doctor in his work... had come with a rather risky brain procedure on a young man, a troublemaker, within the PIT, known only as Katsu. To those privy to the Doctor's recordings, one might recognize Takashi as the assistant who noticed Katsu had not been properly sedated for the procedure. However, the Doctor had been pleased with his efficiency. Ono began to change in the darkness... to further pacify the monster who ruled the depths. He began to experiment on his own time, delving into the realm of regeneration and immortality. So far, it has provided little success, but luckily his research in new methods of reconstructive surgery, a method that was used recently to repair a shot-up Ishihara You, have kept him on the Doctor's good side. 	Ryuukaze The strawberry pocky sat on his lips. Slowly, he twirled it with his tongue, savoring the slight sweetness and relishing the creamy texture. Ryu Minamoto was bored, and that was rarely acceptable. When Ryu got bored, he tended to find some sort of mischief to involve himself in, and his label was constantly on him over little stunts he would pull out of boredom. So what, he liked excitement. Anything other than hanging out in this dressing room after a long rehearsal. A soft crunch as he bit down on the pocky...looking up at a poster with his image on it. Ryuukaze...the dragon spirit of the wind... He gave a cocky smirk and proceeded to stare at the ceiling.

	Flicking the cigarette butt to the ground, Oumori Naoko leaned back against the park bench and closed his eyes. A day off... FINALLY! It had been weeks of non-stop work and practice as the executives demand he get the sound of his keyboard... 'just right' and every damn time he came up with a new sound, they deemed it too 'bland' or 'obscure'. As if they couldn't even make up their minds! Fall... For Naoko, it meant he could finally wear as many warm scarves as he wanted... and today was no exception. Dressed in a long black coat that flared at the bottom, his thin frame stuck out in a crowd. Now he had about three scarves around his neck, each a different color, creating a mix-matched feeling of spring in the fall. Green, light blue, and pink helped to accent the dark purple fur lining of the neck, wrists, and hem of his leather coat. His bleached yellow short hair helped make his statement. Laughing to himself, Naoko lit another cigarette as he contemplated the ensemble. His hair was the sun, his scarves the first sign of spring, and the rest of him was the dark dusk of winter finally being pushed to the ground at season's end. Of course his record company didn't really see the point in his elaborately concocted costumes. But they weren't supposed to. Visual Kei was about expression and shock really... and while Naoko preferred to let others shock... he adored the idea of self expression. Now... if his bosses could just find him some band mates...

	Ryuukaze Sighing, Ryu stood up from the sofa and grabbed his long black coat, throwing it on over his Victorian styled white shirt, buttoning it just so, allowing his black brooch to show just below his neck, a tiny cross dangling from the bottom of it. The ruffles down the front of his shirt puffed out in the perfect fashion, making Ryu look like one of his beloved manga characters, on of the tough, troublemaker types, usually a cheeky demon boy. He quickly pulled out a pair of short, black lace gloves and tugged them on, proceeding to move out the door at record speed, hoping to avoid anyone who might ask him to do anything right now. It was playtime, and he was determined to find something to get up to. Outside it was perfect, the slight crisp to the air gave him even more energy, and he looked to the sky, sly grin sparkling in the sun.

	K a i - H i g u r i Kai found himself in the most odd of places to be smoking a cigarette: a toy store. He don't know how he had ended up there, but he had just been wandering aimlessly—in disguise, of course—and somehow find himself surrounded by all of these soft colors. He shuddered and knew that he had to escape. Immediately. Kai almost made a dash for the door, but managed to only speed walk out, though that still earned him stares. When he thought that he was a respectable distance from that hideous place, he straightened up and shuddered again. That place was his nightmare. It was worse than Chinese water torture to be in that place. He was annoyed at his feet for having dragged him there, and his mind even more for not noticing it until it was far too late. 	Out of smokes. It hadn't taken long... and without a conbini anywhere near by... Naoko sighed, putting his hands into his jacket's pockets and continuing down the sidewalk. Amber eyes lit up at suddenly seeing exactly what he'd wanted. Crossing the street, the young man stepped into a tobacco shop and purchased a new pack of cigarettes. Once outside, he quickly lit one and took a few careful puffs. They weren't his usual brand... but they would do. Naoko adjusted his glasses, looking around as he smoked, back against the wall. He was standing in front of a park, the wall behind him being part of the entrance. But Naoko had never been able to walk and smoke at the same time, so he simply stood there, glasses catching the light of the sun as small curls of smoke drifted up into the air. It wasn't long until a disturbance from across the street caught his attention. It seemed a young man was dashing out of the toy store... 'Guess they don't sell the sort of toys he's into...' Naoko thought, before laughing to himself. He could turn anything into an innuendo...

	K a i - H i g u r i Once Kai had regained enough composure, he straightened up and looked around to see if anyone had noticed, not that he really cared much about stares. He got them all the time and he actually relished in them now. Kai somehow had ended up in this giant park and now he needed to find a gate out. He had better things to do than hang around sickly sweet people kissing on a autumn's day. Kai walked right out of the gate that Naoko was standing next to and turned to walk down the sidewalk. He was mid-stride before he froze. Gold hair... smoke... glasses?! The glasses caught his attention, though the other parts did too. He turned, expecting to find just some uninteresting person that had piqued his interest for no reason, and instead came face to face with a person that looked almost exactly like himself.
