Some of us might be the perfect image of lolita 24/7. However, I will be the first to admit that I am not. This topic is for discussion of the activities (or anything) you do that others might call un-lolita. We're not her to judge. I'm just curious. I want to know how multifaceted you ladies are!
I'll go first!
Aikido. Nothing says, "I don't wear frilly dresses," like throwing full grown men onto the floor with your bare hands. However, aikido does deal with the flow of energy and self-awareness. But even so, it also involves invoking your full body and screaming at the top of your lungs and being in many unladylike positions. Self Defense (goshinjutsu) is even worse. That class is basically about strategically beating someone into letting you go. I love them both. I especially like assistant teaching self defense, until one girl almost dislocated my arm, because she wasn't paying attention. I can't do it anymore, until I fully heal, but I love it! And yet, lolita brings me much enjoyment.
I also didn't wear lolita-esque pajamas or nightgowns often. In the winter, I wear baggy men's flannel pajamas that were my grandfather's.

I dunno, I'd say I'm pretty ladylike, 24/7...
Strolling along, twirling your parasol and some guy drives past, rolls his window down, and says some very naughty things to you.
[Ideal Lolita] I beg your pardon? *walks away gracefully*

You're at work and you notice that a member of your team isn't pulling their weight. You inspect, and it turns out they've just been horsing around.
[Ideal Lolita] Hey, I understand this is exciting, but we really need you to stay focused, okay?
[Belle] You're an adult and this is a workplace. Stop f@qing around. Do your job. I mean it. If I have to talk to you again, you're off the team. Handle your sh$t!
Yeah, I'd say I'm pretty graceful, definitely. smile

I swear like a sailor....all the time and I don't believe in having to be super polite while in Lolita ( common manners are a given but not if the person is being a jerk)

Im not realy ladylike at all. Like horribly behaved and completely rude.
Its like one of those foul mouthed middle aged men who sit on the couch and drink beer, in the body of a dainty lady.
Im polite untill i get to know you, then i release the beast.

tsuki_totoro Im polite untill i get to know you, then i release the beast. I do that too, sometimes. I also do some things for the shock value. I'f small, so everyone thinks I'm cute and innocent, then I turn around and say something with a swear word or sexual connotation. I'm also clumsy. I do know when to be polite and ladylike, and can do so, but with my friends in a private setting, it's totally different.

I love to dress up with lolita and dress down for causal.
I'm a girly-girl lolita and tomboy rascal.
I like to be elegant and graceful.
But I like to dance and swing my hips.
I'm an artist and imagine and draw stories.
I love to shout orders and play paintball.
I love be lazy and nap in the sun.
I am innocent but still have a naughty side.
I'm a lover and a fighter.
There are two sides to me.
But they're still me!
LOL....sounds like a poem. I didn't mean for it to sound like one xd

I try my best to retain good manners always...
I show courtesy to others by being polite
and holding doors open for them, et cetera.
I rarely swear, and I'm too much of a wuss
to call someone out on anything...
Am I... in the minority here?

I am demure most of the time, whether I like it or not. This is somewhat surprising when I'm not in lolita. A small and delicate punk is still a punk, and while they're very often very civic minded and all about what's right and wrong, one acting like a lolita is slightly shocking.
I'm actually trying to stand up for myself a little more. Politely doing so is a bit of a challenge.

I try to always be polite and elegant and I deffinately do not get in fights or do strenuous(did I spell that right XD) labor. The only time I might not act completely lady like is when I'm stuck in a huge crowd of people in the city or Disneyland or at school in the halls and people just wont move, then I start pushing and yelling and occasionally a slap or two is thrown X)
