Well this is for discussion of non-goth music that people still enjoy. Anything from techno, celtic, rap, country, pop, rock, hip hop, or any other non-goth genre you can think of that you enjoy.
A small reminder, everyone has different tastes in music, and different perspectives, so please respect other people's tastes by not flaming or saying things like "Oh they suck". Just because you don't enjoy something doesn't mean that other people can't. Please keep negative comments out of this thread.

Current Song: "Loosing my Religion" by R.E.M.
A good reminder that people can have things change them. I really like this particular song because it isn't obvious, the subtle undertones draw you farther.

I know I'm going to get a flicker of flame on this one but I don't care. I am getting to be a big fan of Kanye West. He has been popping up on my playlist more and more.

Hmm, let's see. Some favorites (mostly from when I was younger, but not all) Savage Garden, Enya, Maddonna(believe it or not), Paula Cole, Alanis Morrisette, Ace of Base, and a whole bunch more, but those are just a few things.

I happen to a huge savage garden fan. Especially when I was younger, but there's still always a place in my heart for Darren Hayes.

I like Rusted Root... it's isn't goth at all. And 4 Strings, the soundtrack to Shrek (the music played in the movie, not songs inspired from it.) and The Barenaked Ladies. I love that "If I Had a Million Dollars" song!

Skold, Enya, Skinny Puppy, Front242, KMFDM, MDFMK, Faith and the Muse, Inkubus Sukkubus, Evanescence... GAH! There are quite a few of them... but those would be amongst my favorite bands there.
And as a bit of a side note, a song that helped me through a more than a few rough times and helped me stand up when it was hard, (laugh if you will, i attribute 2nd place in a nationals martial arts tournament to it) "It's My Life" - Bon Jovi
