Ok... Link, look at it like this... each number up there pertains to a particular letter... I suspect those linked by dashes are words... such as 1.2-2.3-3.4, being a three letter word... each number... and I believe the numbers in this case are all done as 1.2 or 3.4 or what ever his code might be, in other words two numerals linked by a decimal. It is a code, hence a puzzle, not necessarily a riddle... though his cipher may be a riddle.. haven't cracked it yet. Look up ciphers on the internet to get a better idea of what I am getting at... Out of curiosity is it easier to crack a short, medium, or long cypher?

hmmm... I'd say it is easier to crack a medium to long cipher... the better chance of repetitions... such as common letters or double ones... those are what I look for first 3nodding

Ok well it has been a week
I think nobody is going to object to me giving a hint
The key is really simplesimple as can be
All you need is to listen to the musicYou play it a lot
Even though it is not the normal musicAsk Qwerty he will help
It is played on the same keysalthough not in a normal sense
Don't tell a soul though

sweatdrop sorry... I've been kind of busy and if it means I have to work on it away from the computer, doesn't happen much lately... but that's my excuse... don't know about everyone else... we're house hunting.... and I'm on the computer quite a bit, surfing and scouring the listings, which is why I can monitor the guild as much as I do... but when I'm not sitting here... I'm out running around... wish us luck... I'd love to get the new place before the end of the year...
