Personally, I think it's stupid. The people who are signing the petetion are the same kids who sit in the channels all day begging for free items. They have nothing, so they don't mind starting over. They just don't like the fact that players are better than them, and they want to be equal.(even though they wouldn't be equal for long.)
Also, a petition will do nothing. None of the people at Blizzard that are high enough to make such a decision will ever see the petition. It's a lost cause.
And lastly, why are they saying "bnet is laggy. we need a reset!"
What the hell do they think restarting the servers will do for lag issues? It will make them far worse. I'm not sure if anyone else here was on bnet for the ladder reset, but as soon as it reset, the game creation lines were impossibly long. All the channels were filled to the brim, and everyone was complaining about how they couldn't get in a game.
So yeah... I'd have to say the petition is kind of dumb.

kind of stupid, with the low time i have I get some good items, and now I should start over again? why do you think I don't play ladder
this is were ladder is made for, just not anything duped or anythiing. competition between 2 equals
and the most of the lag is caused by your own internet

Legit players are getting realmed down for trading for duped items ... and they don't know that the item is duped.

Legit players are getting realmed down for trading for duped items ... and they don't know that the item is duped. yes, but the ladder is kind of over now, cause every realm has it's number 1 but yeah, that really sucks-.- in the beginning of the ladder there is nothing to dupe, cause nobody has good stuff. but as soon there are lvl 99 chars(or 95+) there are people that dupe, mainly when they're lvl 85 and they can wear the best stuff, like eth gf with an ohm rune in it, a barb would immediatly have 2 and make him kind of overkill, so he will get a second change in getting the first to lvl 99

Ever. But if you say it's there .... Screenshot please! And even if you're not lvl 80+ ... you can still dupe good things. Normal Baal can drop Tal's Ammy. (I found one from him, and I didn't want to id it because I thought it was Cathans -_-) NM Meph can drop Occy, Skullders, Travs. WS2 in NM can drop Shako. I personally found a Shako in WS3 in ladder 1. With my Amazon. With less than 200 MF. Go figure. So at lvl 50 or thereabout you can find good things that would be GODLY for that stage in ladder. Even duping RUNES and cubing them, and re-duping them would ruin the economy before a month.

man im on 56k and i can still play on realms without too much lag as for the hacks and dupes thats y ppl created guilds to be able to play free of such things
