Sounds like a good idea. For weekly, there would have to be a good amount of donations. Then again, I suppose it depends on the price.

Umm...
I like the idea of a costume day thingy. I forgot where I heard it, but I like it. Everyone dress up as something, according to the theme. :]
Alsooooo~
You could try and getting all the artist of the guild to open up an art shop. People stop by, want their avi drawn, get it drawn, pay the fee, and that goes directly towards funding the guild.
I think it's a spiffy idea.
Now, we just need some artists...*looks around suspiciously*
