But recently I've been reading this book and I love it.
Have any of you ever read it?

I read it and I saw the film based on it. I thought it was very sad.

I couldn't decide if I thought it would've been better for him to never know what it was like to be intelligent if he had to lose it. I agree with the philosophy "It's better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all," but one's own capabilities are different from love...Like I said, I never determined an opinion on the matter; only that it was depressing.

Even though it wasn't an uplifting story, it was good.
