Doom went to his room and gathered up everything so that he can finally finish what he needed to, to kill Glace and release himself, he knew he may not come back, alive at least.

There was one illusion in Doom's head Glace left for him. The illusion appeared at the exit of his door. (It looks like the real thing.) "You will not kill me." The illusion laughs insanely and starts to walk away and fades away behind the wall so Doom wouldn't see him disappear.
(Trying to make Doom see things making him go nuts.)
