I personally have two lip rings, and plan on getting more facial piercings, plus some corset piercings. O: Is that seen as "noobish" to Lolitas? I'm making my own Sweet Lolita clothing currently.. xD; I don't see how it would matter, but you know how those things go sometimes.

Since you're a lolita you shouldn't care what others think right? Even other lolitas. I say go for whatever look you like best. smile

Although, I can see a little lip ring on a punk lolita.

You shouldn't let the clothing you wear really influence the choices you are going to make about your physical appearance and this really applies to any point of fashion. Whether you want to be a Sweet Lolita or even Punk you should stop yourself from going forth with the piercings if they make you happy. I once had my lip pierced and that certainly didn't stop me from wearing Sweet Lolita, so don't sweat the small stuff :3

What I believe she's saying (or at least what I was going to get at) was that why would you worry about body piercings, certainly something people have regardless of or in harmony with personal style, when you're already nonconforming with typical fashion by wearing frilly outfits with petticoats? I seems that Trinka Trinka was building on the thought that lolitas should be expected to block negative comments from others.

I think maybe small diamond studs can be cute. Otherwise, I am PERSONALLY avoiding facial piercings because I'm not aiming to be gothic lolita or punk lolita or anything like that.

I'm not a big fan of piercings, but if you think they'll work than they will~ ^-^
Experimenting is fun, and the holes will always close up sooner or later (Oh my, that sounds bad, doesn't it? x) )

Sleeping Dragon of Shu The land is united at last....No, the land was always as one.... Facial piercings don't make you Gothic or Punk Lolita, the outfits you wear decide which style you wear.
It was man who has been divided....

I think, and this is only my opinion so disregard it as you wish, that while piercings do not change what style of lolita you are, that certain piercings, but not all, look better on different kinds of lolita. I have seen these cute little balls for lips with little peppermint swirls on them, which could easily be matched to a sweet dress. Whatever you do, make it look intentional and you'll look fabulous. Personally, I'm a gothic lolita who doesn't even pierce her ears.

I"M GETTING TATTOOS!!!
If you feel beautiful and lolita-ish in it, then go for it. I've seen some very classy and beautiful punk lolita with piercings. As long as it's what you think looks good, more than likely it will mesh well with the type of lolita you think looks good, and well, you'll look good!

Some people would say no to the piercings, but I don't agree with their opinions.
My opinion is that you should do what you want and make it your own. I don't think that piercings are un-lolita, as long as they match or quazi-match. AND, it's totally awesome that you are sewing your own lolita clothes.

Tattoos aren't that rare at the lolita fashion thought, there are even lolita tattoo issues of some magazines existing. However, I think that some kind of tattoos just won't fit sweet at last since piercings of certain styles just don't look sweet in any way (special ring ones).
