Some say Friday, and others say Saturday. I will begin fasting on Saturday, insallah, because that's when my home country is starting and what my mosque has said.

I start Saturday as well. Most Middle Eastern countries start then, so I'm following them.

They announced last night (after a long wait) that Ramadan would be on Saturday =>
So here in the UAE we are starting tomorrow! =D

Yeah...my mom called some of her friends and double checked what day Ramadan starts and it is Saturday...

We started yesterday (Saturday) with the first Taraweeh on Friday.
