Call Me Apple Juice
I can't take it any longer. I have to ask xD
Who else is into languages here?
I love them, and besides Qur'an, languages books are my favourite ones to read. In order of fluency: English, Spanish, Danish, Arabic and French ^^
I know mostly conversational Arabic & of course a lot of prayers.
English & Spanish both have fluency :] I hope to be fluent in Danish or French one day, I know i will never be fluent in Arabic because foreign alphabets scare me.
Which ones do you speak?
Which ones do you WANT to learn?
My native tongue is Arabic and I speak/Read English flauntly (who would have guessed eh?
blaugh )
They "tried" to teach us French in 4th grade up to 7th grade but I hated it and it was so hard and I could not make out why there were so many letters in a word when you don't even pronounce half of them
scream !
-_-' so *ahem* yeah I sucked in French, I could understand a few words and I had to squeeze every single ounce of French wisdom out of me on my recent trip to Paris (never again!!
stressed ) but I barely grabbed onto words since they speak so freaking fast even thought I said 10 times I don't understand it that much and I am trying to resist the urge to smack them with my French translation book that I am clearly holding >_<
I WISH I could learn Japanese (it would make reading Manga and watching Anime a hell lot easier) oh and I could own all the games I want
crying that never get released in English
But I have a bad memory and my forgetfulness >_< makes it harder to learn, I do know how to say cow in Japanese! Ushii! XD it is so darn cute
And I would love to learn Spanish some day because it sounds so nice and sexy
So uhm yeah that is about it.
heart xp And Arabic letters are not so hard! =D it is the grammar that is horrible (I don't even know it fully myself
sweatdrop )
Once you learn the Basic alphabet and how they letters look when they are linked you would easily learn how to read, most letters have 3 basic links first, middle and end but some letters have only 2 first and end like the letter "wow" in Arabic it can't be linked in the middle of a word
و <--- I don't know if your browser supports it but it should look like a very fancy comma
xp (that is first base if your wondering since it is not linked to anything and that is the most common use for that letter)
and that single letter also means "And" btw
