What books have made you cry? Please share with us! exclaim
Don't spoil anything, though! You can say "Book A made me cry when a character died," but don't say who died in case someone reads this thread that hasn't read the book yet. wink

Deathly Hallows made me cry when A.P.W.B.D, (i think those are his full initials) and one of them died.
I have have cried a bunch of times over a ton of things in the seven of The Sword Of Truth books I've read. I still have five and a half of them to read. So... I'm gonna be teary for about.... two months.

Elf, I cried at his death, too! cry
The scene with that particular stone at the end of Deathly Hallows by Rowling made me weep. crying
I cried when Sorcha got...hurt in Daughter of the Forest by Marillier. cry
Luna by Peters caused me to shed tears because no one should have to feel so foreign to their own body and have to worry about "passing" for something else. cry
I cried a couple of times during The Amber Spyglass by Pullman. There was the time when the main character had to be spiritually torn from someone she loved, and when two of the characters had to remain apart forever at the end. crying crying crying

Deathly Hallows made me cry, not just a little, a lot. Escpecially when that one red-headed guy died. And when the other characters died to crying .
Half-Blood Prince made me cry to when A.P.W.B.D died. (the movie almost had me in tears to)
I will honestly admit, when I was obsessed with Twilight (which I'm not anymore), the ending of Breaking Dawn, when Edward has to do the thing he doesn't want to do to save someone, I cried because I thought she died.

HBP and DH naturally made me cry (I think we can all agree on that).
I seriously cried for Little Women when one of the sisters died.
I honestly tear up regularly for Lord of the Rings.
I cry *every time* I get to Tiffany's solution to the Wintersmith in Wintersmith.
And I have a solid 10-12 pages of randomly bursting into tears toward the end of Thud!, when Vimes needs to get back to his son. Ah jeez, I can't even type about it without tearing up.

I cry in every book that has a sad moment but the one that makes me cry the hardest is Harry Potter when my favorite chacter dies. I've read those books a couple dozen times and I still ball like a baby!!
Also in my favorite book, The Seer and the Sword, there's a part that my boyfriend showed me before I read it that reminded him of me and every single time I reach that page I ball for like an hour at how sweet he is!!!

I cry when I read "Bridge to Terabithia", and when animals die in books. October Sky/Rocket Boys when Homer's cat is killed made me bawl.
