I think it is. I've never done it, but that's what I've heard. It doesn't mention it in the Qu'ran though. Does it?
What I was wondering is if it's okay to have sexual feelings. Like to be horny. Is it ok to have dreams about having sex? It's hard to control these feelings especially since we are humans. It's only normal.
Also for boys, is it ok to have a wet dream?

This is where Allah (swt) tests us, because he knows we're going to want to, but we need to have the discipline to restrain ourselves! It is a haram. "Allah is with those who restrain themselves." (16:12 cool
"And those who guard their chastity (i.e. private parts, from illegal sexual acts). Except from their wives or (the captives and slaves) that their right hands possess, - for them, they are free from blame. But whoever seeks beyond that, then those are the transgressors."
(23:5-7)
I have also heard some people say "If there are only two options, but harmful, then one takes the lesser of the two harms to avoid the greater one." But...that says that people have no self control, which we DO have. And we try to live our life avoiding sinful behaviour. So...discipline yourself, if you feel 'horny' all the time, get a hobby >> Here is an article on Islam & Masturbation. On 'wet dreams', that is something the body does naturally. It in inward sexual tension, but he should not act on it.

As long as you restrain yourself in order to not become dependent upon those carnal desires, I haven't read anything saying otherwise. Keep in mind that, even if masturbating is not a sin, restraint is a virtue.

Feeling horny is normal. You can have sexual thoughts and dreams as long as you don't act on them. 3nodding As far as masturbation is concerned. I honestly don't know. It's not discussed in the Qur'an.

@ Just_For_Dust
If you "think" it is Haram, say "I believe" and if you sure it is Haram then please tell us where in the Qur'an or Hadith to support your statement.

Like to be horny. Is it ok to have dreams about having sex? It's hard to control these feelings especially since we are humans. It's only normal. Also for boys, is it ok to have a wet dream? Masturbation is haram b/c it's addictive, waste of a person's seed/time/money/effort and can distract them from their obligations in Islam. Sexual desires are normal but when they start getting real bad, marriage or fasting are prescribed. Some people need both which is alright. Dreams about sex are fine in Islam only if they are good and you are with your lawful spouse and that's all good. Anything beyond that, the Shaiytan are messing with you. And please dont tell those types of dreams or any bad dreams b/c they can be harmed by them. When a person is asleep, they are not held accountable for their actions or sayings b/c they may not be aware of what they are doing or saying. That's why Muslims are not suppose to go into prayer tired or sleepy. So if a person, man or woman, has a wet dream, they should not feel bad about it, b/c it's natural. Just take a ritual bath and make wuduu.

Can you list some examples? Actually anything that can be viewed by the public, or outside the home, so I guess mostly public masterbation is of course not accepted..but it would be very hard to actually prove in court that from the privacy of one's own home someone broke the law. As far as I can see it's a law not specifically put in black and white. I guess it would depend on the situation.
