Name: PwnJoo Most concerned about: Green energy Are you more concerned about animals or earth?: Umm.... Probably about the same on both of those. I'm a vegetarian but I'm an environmentalist, too. Those issues are too important to just pick one or the other. But human rights are just as important! I think that's definitely part of being green. Are you here to learn or join the discussions?: Definitely both! List one opinion about your main concern.: If you're serious about renewable energy, you should check out this new process they're looking at for making algae into fuel for cars. However, electric cars are still cleaner. Been waiting on the hydrogen car for ages.
Thanks for the invite! I'm glad there's a guild like this one. I've been a vegetarian since 2000, and I try to be as green as I can all the time. I recycle and make compost and try not to use lots of electricity or gas, either. I agree with OP, Greenpeace and PETA are definitely extremists. They're fighting the good fight, but they're fighting dirty. Although I do have a cookbook from PETA.
Just the other day, Bob Barker was just up the road protesting the conditions the bears were held in at some zoo in Cherokee. I live in Asheville, NC and it's a haven for vegetarians and activists of all kinds.

Good for you, being a vegetarian! My sister is a vegetarian, too. (I wish you put an option for all in the poll! It's hard to decide!)
