I'm going away to a guard camp in two days and I'm going to learn more rifle skills there. I'm practicing at home but I'm prettymuch slef taught. sweatdrop I can only do regualr spins and about three spin tosses. But how tight is the strap supposed to be? Mine keeps getting looser and looser and messing me up, but if I have it super tight I can't spin right. Someone please help me?

Ok the strap isn't supposed to be super tight like you said. As long as you can hold it against the rifle and it reaches all the curves it should be good. I recommend electrical tape to keep it from getting loose... Other than that it's all feel. Hope that helps!!!

for being self taught thats really good. the strap i had the exact same thing happen to me but that was after i cracked it a great deal. i'd recommend going to buy guard tape or electriacal tape and then sdjust it so it's not too tight but it would feel right to you. and then tape it where the screw is. hope you get better. heart

you want it tight enough for the slap enough that if you held the strap to the rifle (like normal palm spin) it should comfortably rest against it... but not so tight it makes a triangle with the rifle.

Easy there killer. I know that's not the right term but it doesn't matter. We wanted to help with equipment not slang smile

Words are words. I USE it. Does that work? If you're not in colorguard then you can't help answer my question.

Anyways, I got camp from back yesterday and I learned sooo much. Exhausting, but so fulfuilling. If any of you have ever heard of Mid Atlantic Band Front Camps, you should TOTALLY go.
