ok this is gonna sound like a strange question, anybody else want to start a thread updating on the shareholder status of huntingdon labs? (LSR to anybody else in the world) Would anybody object if I posted updates on the status of this place? if they would I'll refrain.

HLS or huntingdon life sciences is the worlds most infamous animal testing lab. They have been investigated countless times for unnecessary cruelty and falsifying test results. the organisation SHAC was set up to stand against them, it is now an international animal rights movement. HLS workers were investigated for many acts of cruelty including shaking the test subjects (beagle puppies) and one worker was even filmed by an infiltrator punching one in the face. They are currently leaking shareholders to the point where they can't even trade on english stock exchange anymore. the New york stock exchange removed them once too before sneaking them back on under the pseudenym Life science research (LSR). SHAC keep us updated on when they lose shareholders so thought I'd ask permission to post info here as it arises.

Wow, that;s terrible. Sometimes animal testing is necessary, but there's no reason to do things like that to them. shaking and punching them....how is that anyway scientific? That's just cruel!

ok in 2011 they owe repayment on all loans, they need to borrow a stagerring 60 million dollars to even BEGIN to resolve their debts. And since our goverment bailed them out 3 times already and they are no longer technically a UK business methinks bailing them out again would be political suicide. They deal with a few well known businesses heck even STAPLES supply bthem with basic supplies. These guys are big but as you can clearly see by the list of companies currently ditching them they may be in a teensy weensy bit of trouble ^^.

YAY they just lost another shareholder, totalling 700,000 shares over 5 percent of the business, there is also talk of novartis pulling their custom though that last one is currently unsubstantiated. A lotta companies pretend not to deal with them to cover up their dirty lil secret.

oh dear. They're discussing taking the company private, if they do that then no shareholders meaning only customers can be demonstrated against.
