A man goes into a restaurant and asks a waiter for a glass, a plate, water, a match, and a lemon wedge. The man poured enough water onto the plate to cover it.
He then said, "If you can get the water on the plate into this glass without touching or moving this plate, I will give you $100."
"You may use only the match and lemon to do this."
A few minutes later, the waiter walked away with $100 in his pocket. How?

That would be what I would do...very gently suck up the water, than spit it into the glass

My guess is the waiter started some sort of fire with the match causing the man to become thirsty and drink the water or pour the water somewhere to put out the fire. But I've no clue what to do with the lemon.....

But I've no clue what to do with the lemon..... The waiter cannot touch the plate, and why would the man give uo $100 simply because he was thirsty? He could easily ask another waiter to get him a drink, or he could leave. Plus, the waiter has to fill the glass with the water on the plate. Sorry.

Ok I spent an hour coming up with a solution...
The waiter put the match into the lemon wedge, so that it can stand up straight. He lit the match and put it in the middle of the plate with the lemon. He placed the glass upside-down over the match. The flame used up the oxygen in the glass, then creates a small suction vacuum thingy, it sucked in the water through the space between the glass and the plate.
