Hey everyone, Chibi and I were looking for ideas for a new front page design, if you have any please feel free to post them here 3nodding

The number of new members has slowed down enough to the point where I think that we should go ahead and do a new front design if everyone still wants to do one. I haven't seen some of our recent members around in a while. I contacted Marshmallow Kitty and Chiroay Toraah, but they haven't show up yet.

I had already suggested a greco-roman design. I highly encourage everyone reading this to put in their own thoughts. If you like my idea, tell us. If you like another idea, tell us! Remember that this guild is a democracy.

If no one contributes, I might have to make an execute decision. xp The funny thing is, when I bought this guild after the old one was deleted, I never thought that I would be running the show. I thought that I would be captain in name only, and all of the members would jointly run the guild. I guess it didn't work out that way. sweatdrop

Cool! I am also trying to figure out what to do with members that haven't been around for a very long time. Perhaps we need to leave a little bit of space to add old members that resurface. Or perhaps we need to leave the old members that are still part of Gaia. I have been going back and forth with this for a while now. I have also been debating what to do with certain crew members that haven't posted in several months. They say that they are coming back, but I have waited about two months now. xp

That's always a problem when making this kind of guild front. confused I was wondering if we should even have our avi's on the front banner. That would solve the whole member problem as far as that's concerned. But, it would seem less personal that. way. xp

Using the Parthenon would be pretty cool.

Now that Mallow came back, I have one less old crew member to worry about. I think that I'll contact Chi again and tell her what's going on.

I went ahead and did some cleanup. I told Chi that if she ever comes back, she will immediately be reinstated. 3nodding I also changed Mira to member status and sent the same message to her. (It was kind of painful to do that.)

Miss sent me an idea about making special dress days within the guild. I am thinking that it would be a good idea to make an event subforum. If that is going to work, we need to make sure that everyone knows what's going on within the subforums. I am going to look into getting the code necessary to have a little scrolling blog on the home page. I know the code with html, but I don't know the bb code for it, or if bb code event supports such a thing. In any case, I'm going to look it up and see if I can make this into a reality.

The second summer term doesn't start until Tuesday, so I literally have nothing to do until then. I have a feeling that I will be playing with that idea during my break.

If I can't get the code to work, we will have to figure out something else for advertisement. The heads of the various subforums (or other crew members) could edit the title and first post on the announcement thread. However, that seems to be largely overlooked. It might be a good idea to make different graphics to advertise events and stuff, and then post those in the announcement thread and/or home page. I could handle taking care of the code for the home page. I need to get Malomy to spend more time on Gaia and less time on Maple Story to manage her stuff too.
