Ok, so I had this idea, We like to collab with other artists don't we?
So i thought why only collab with 2 people? Why not collab with as many people as we possibly can @__@
Here is my idea, i hope you all like the sound of it...
I thought it would be nifty if multiple artists work together on one picture. How would that work Sui? you may ask!
I thought that maybe one of us can post a idea fo a picture, the next does a rough sketch or skeleton sketch of the pose and SIGNS THEIR NAME! the next person refined said sketch and signs of course, the person after starts lining it and signs, the next does more, and then more and then, well do you get the idea?
All until we get a big finished picture which we have all put our mark on.. I think this would be a nifty idea <3
So are we up for it?
I also thought for the traditional artists out there they could maybe do the sketch being that it would be hard for them to colour a half digital picture? I wouldn't want to leave anyone out.. well if people wanted to do this <3
I think to also make this fair that artist cannot profit from this, we do a picture maybe not of gaia avatars and something origional <3
The rules being that nobody can colour over areas others have done but maybe add to it?
So...@holds breath@ What do you all think?

I think it's neat, but you would end up with a picture that has like 10 different styles in it and it would probably look very very strange.
I suggest we all collaborate on an image that has like 10 characters, and each of us make our own character and then combine them into one picture.

While that does sound like it would be fun, it might turn out odd with all the different styles combined.

-nod- I think we should make a huge collab of maybe like original character of each artist involved and have it like a crowd of them. Some standing, some sitting, all in the same perspective so it actually looks like it was made together but by different artists. neutral

I couldnt help staring at some of the comments on that picture in horror...
Anyway...ten characters sounds good to me since I dont much like using other peoples lineart. Some people could also do the background or parts of it if while others draw the characters.

i think its a fantastic idea SUI, we should also let people know we're working on the next step that way if your doing the basic line someone else isn't also doing that.

I've never done a collab, I prefer the multiple characters thing so that styles wouldnt collide smile
it would be fun!! we could like, do a bunch of different ones, we could get all the people interested and then split them in groups?

This sounds neat^^ but only thing i'm concerned about is how we'll manage to put it all together~ shouldn't 1 person work on it at once? cuz otherwise we'd get mixups in positions and spaceXD
btw~ never done this b4 but that's my 2 cents^^

one person has to make a basic sketch of the characters qua position. nothing detailed, just crude outlines. and beforehand a theme should be outlined. so that there won't be spacecowboys next to dungeon and dragons wizards. xD
after that, everyone can do what they want.

love the idea but mmm guess I didn´t got it at all.
Having all the characters made by each their ownwould be more like a collage than other thing? or would be like "he/she knows how to do awesome perspective and background- she/he will do it!!"
"she/he knows how to color clothes in a relaisticway! let's go 4 it"
or something like that?
Or maybe I´m talking nonesense - yeah! too much doramas D:
