Hello Guild <3
What I want to know is, do you do a lot of art for free, or for Gold? Or even RL monies?
Myself, about 95% of the art i've done, i do it for free, i get so nervous when i do commissions D: When someone gets something for nothing its a lot less stressfull for me because they didnt pay anything for it they dont expect much?

Also! Do you draw for yourself very much? I tend not to draw for myself too much, be it avatar art or just personal projects. Its a shame really but, its so time consuming D: <3
Also if you do art for free i'd love to see what you do for free? are they sketches? or do you go all out? <333

Mainly I give out free art, I only take comissions when I need the money or the Gaia gold.
I love giving free art, drawing ramdom avatars. etc.
I lok at it as practice xD

I understand your idea on commissions D: I hate that feeling >.< *I get it all the time* : (
I don't draw myself no, XD its funny cause people always say ohhh your an artist you must draw yourself alot and get good pics for free, but really I don't, I don't really have a reason, just dosen't really interest me to draw myself most of the time. XD
I used to do drawings for free but I'm questing for the d-tail right now > 3 so I've only been drawing for commissions at the moment, but when I was handing out freebies last year this is the kind of stuff I handed out.

I do a lot of projects for myself or friends who helped me with things (like moving, or just for fun) But during events I always have at least one free sketch thread!   Two freebies I did during the Easter event. biggrin I do RL commissions, but not a lot of work for Gaia gold anymore.

I usually have people pay me gold for my art, unless I know them personally or love their avi. Best freebies from others :] I love Soli <3

@Sin Error - Yes, ive had to do a few commissions as of late because Ijust cannot affod Gaia at the moment my wallet is pretty minus at the moment XD and I've seen Xinn's before very nice freebies C: <3 Thanks!
@Loki Seiji - I'm the same, i think ive only drawn myself about 3 or 4 times XD The realistic arts you have done are stunning =0 I love the shadows and such <3 and your lines are so clean =0 Thanks for letting me see them <3
@Kai_Chi - I know right D: I get so nervous when i send them the WIPs i always make sure they are happy with it D: GAH! I hate being so nervous about commissions D: Ohes good luck on your quest!! I think you have drawn me once, if i missed some i'd love to see them <33 I would hate to think ive missed some art, I've done free art for people whom i think have never received them which makes me sad :C

We did an art trade? I don't recall actually do that before... UNLESS, it was in the freebie art guild, then perhaps. Oh my, I haven't been there for over a year and a half. And I do remember drawing that. That piece was experimental and one of a kind. Though it looks a bit wonky, I still like it. Wow... 2006, it's been awhile. And I still have the piece you did for me. Thanks. And believe it or not, that grombie skin is STILL hiding under what I have now. With all the new skins since the Halloween Vampire, things have worked in my favor. I just love hair and head items though.
But yeah, Freebies are what I use to experiment with or try to perfect a style that I really like. During the holiday events in Quatro's freebie event threads is when I really go to town. Though once in awhile when I just have a random urge to draw something it's either my avatar or a regular's at her art thread that gets doodled.
About half of the art I have of my avatar is drawn by me. Dunno if that's sad or not.

@Psychedelic Green - seriously so so cute <333 and your not the only one XD now when i get art i save the username in the file so i dont forget who did it and if anybody asks i can tell them XD i wish i did it from the beginning D:
@Alec Ikiiki Yes! it was in AFL<333 and i love it <333 the lines are so clean and your style is love <33 and yeah some time ago <333 I'm pretty ashamed at ,my half of our art trade OTL >_< and wowness seriously =0 thats groovy you still have that skin i remember you had it for ages and i remember seeing you without it and thought you deleted it XD and yes its such a shame with that skin that the hair was lost and hat items where no no :C same with the level 2 skin i had which got deleted, still i have a lvl1 grombie skin on my mule C: <333 and yes i remember seeing you in Quatros thread =0 they move so so fast i find it so hectic and hard to keep up D:

Oh, Vi, the freebie thread we're talking about would easily pass a couple thousand pages during the event. And Quatro, bless her heart, would go through each page she missed while gone to find all the freebie art and post it on the front page. It's nice finding certain threads with regulars like that. We're all one big happy family now. I wonder if there's going to be an event during the summer. That'd be nice. Means more freebies.

I always draw freebies. xD I rarely ever take commissions of any kind. Lately, I've gotten into auctions and whatnot. So, couple of arts eh? :'D [ uno ][ dos ][ tres ]And yes. I draw myself often, mainly because it's really the only one I can think up of all the details without too much effort. rofl
