Why get reviewed?
Getting reviewed earns you gold. Who wouldn't want gold for doing something they do naturally? Only a modest person, a fool, or a modest fool xd The fact is, I'm giving you gold for displaying your talents in the guild. I'd hope that everyone is excited about this part of the guild, and hope you participate in this excitement.
How much do I get for a review?
Review earnings depend on what you're having reviewed, and the review you've gotten. Since most of it is time consuming for the Mogul, I'll try and make the earnings to your liking (unless you're really showing no effort at all, and just trying to get the gold.) The three activities earn different types of gold, for the various types of rate.
The Mogul Directors, the story/fanfic writers, earn gold according to the 5 star chart. The chart is as followed:
1 and 1 1/2 star - 500g and 1000g
2 and 2 1/2 star - 1500g and 2000g
3 star - 2500g
3 1/2 and 4 star - 3000g and 3500g and a chance to enter the Mogul Award Show.
The Mogul Players, the RPers, will be graded differently. Read further for details.
Since RPs are much more active, I have to go about this one differently. The Mogul Critics will consult each other on who, and how much, will follow the RP (therefore this team will be bigger than the others). Doesn't even matter if a MC joins it (so I'll be looking for MCs who are RP heads). Afterward, they'll scout the RPers and see who stands out. Five Moguls will be picked by the MC and will be sequenced from First to Fifth. The amount given is:
1st MP - 3000g and a chance to enter the Mogul Award Show.
2nd MP - 2500g and a chance to enter the Mogul Award Show.
3rd MP - 2000g
4th MP - 1500g
5th MP - 1000g
The Mogul Artisan, the artist, earn gold according to category critiquing.
The 5 point, 5 category system. You earn a maximum of five points in any given category. In the end, we add up the amount of points received and distribute the gold accordingly.
Goth Zombie
Style
Technique
Use of medium
Proportion & Composition
Creativeness
The Mogul Critic will review the artist work using those categories. A rating of 1 to 5 will be giving in each category. After the total is accumulated, the sum is multiplied by 200 ( X * 200 = Your gold earning). The higher your review, the more gold you get.
How do I get reviewed?
For MD - All you have to do is place in your title [Review] and any of the MC will be happy to oblige.
For MP - If you're looking to be reviewed, you must join a RP that is subject to be reviewed (the RP must have [Review] in its title). The RP has to have 10 "active" RPers to reviewed.
For MA - The same format for MD.
P.S. You are allowed to do topics that aren't subject to review. Its just an incentive for you to do it, and at your best.
Until I revise this thread, here's some more detailed info I got to help out reviewers and critics
Seth Cash
Once we get Critics, I'll post them up and let the users know that they're allowed to get reviewed. For them to get reviewed, especially in the MPC's case, they'll have to join an RP that is subject to be reviewed (They'll have to have the words "review" in either the title, the first post, or both. I recommend it be in the title)
Once 10 people are in the RP, the review team can follow the RP and pick five overall RPers. The team can get together and decide the placement of the Rpers (from 1st to 5th). It doesn't matter if there are 50 people in the RP, only 5 will be selected as winners.
Another thing to note is that the team can decide on the winners as soon as they want. Althought the longer, the better (obviously). Also, after the winners have been decided, the RP can continue, but no more winners can be selected in that RP.
After the RPers are selected and given their proper placement, one of the team members who participated in the review of the RP can create a thread in the same forum showing the winners and their placement. From there, I'll give the gold to the winners, and also the gold to the reviewers (please note that the reviewer must post the Critics that participated in the review in the thread, just in case I've forgotten)
The resume is simple, just alittle about yourself and your background in the specific field you want to Critique (ex. I've been a RPer for x amount of years, etc.). Just something that would help me understand why you would make a good Critic.
Thanks for bringing this up, I notice I left out some key information. I will edit my sticky accordingly.
