Dust

Small, drifing about,
a single spec can go throughout the whole world, noticed by none.
However, it's upon one that things can happen, the reason for our world.
You see, the vastness of space is made of them all.
Upon one, one of many to drift here,
was the smallest thing of all; the dapolites.
A Dapolite is nought much more than one made of an up and down,
a top and bottom,
so small, so tiny,
that it has not much more than a top or bottom.
They came on their little speck, seeing a world anew without even green grass to walk upon.
they ventured out, testing the ground,
and tasted the air, breathing it in.
One decided to lay down and grew in place, being the first blade of grass.
Another stood proud, immagining sides, untill he too grew
but became
a tree!
Others watched in awe, thinking that they could join, untill they all had become the leaves.
One by one, they grew and they grew, untill the Earth was green, the trees too.
So next time you go out and see the green ground, remember that it was imagination
that that made us this place.
