Daceria fell asleep in her sister’s arms. Forest held her as she too fell asleep against her older sister. Kallman stayed awake for he knew the danger that would await them in the dawning of the morning. He watched out the window steadily waiting for the us, for the yes of the hunters would fill the swamp. Kallman had never before ever had so many people in his swamp at one time, but he knew what their reason was. They wanted Daceria and Forest and would kill anyone who tried to stop them from achieving their goal. Kallman remembered the old days when he’d buy weapons from ex-hunters, now he not dared to go near the village. He wasn’t afraid of them but he realize their strength in numbers.
On the other hand Keri and the hunters were assembled within the forest. They had escaped the buys but they didn’t know of the other dangers of Kallman’s swamp. There was good ole Charlie, and of course quicksand and tar pits. Keri commanded the hunters to prepare for the battle. Adam shook his head as he had the hunters ready their weapons. Adam wonder what Kedro’s plans were now that one silver wolf was out of the way. Kedro’s main plan was originally to capture them all. Now he had killed one. Adam didn’t know Kedro’s entire plans but Adam did know he wanted Kallman dead this time. He had escaped the ocean death trap. Adam, Keri and the other hunter waited in complete silence for the dawning of morning to draw upon their attack.
The sun rose from the east and as it was seen Daceria and Forest were awoken by the bright sun shining in on them.
Daceria walked over to Kallman’s side and looked out the window.
“Lovely morning today isn’t it Kallman?” asked Daceria. Kallman continued to watch out the window.
“Is something wrong?” asked Forest coming up to Kallman’s other side.
“Their here.” replied Kallman and as he said that Keri was the first one in as the others trailed not far off. Daceria could not believe what she was seeing. All the hunters were heading their way very rapidly. Daceria knew what they had done to her brother. They would kill Kallman as well. She could not let Kallman die, not when her sister had finally found someone to love. Daceria was so happy for her sister.
“How did they know where we were?” asked Forest.
“They probably followed Daceria’s scent to the swamp.” replied Kallman. Daceria started to back away.
“Relax… They followed you because of Darkstorm’s death. Now with him gone Forest and yourself are the only targets left. Don’t worry I will protect you both.” explained Kallman pulling her back next to him again.
“No, I have to stop running from the hunters. I will have to face them sooner of later.” replied Daceria pulling away from his grasp and jumping out the window only a short distance from Keri and the hunters.
“Well, well, well the bait is coming to us?” smirked Keri. “Adam I’ll let you handle this.”
Adam walked up to Daceria. He looked at her for a few long minutes.
“Have you come to turn yourself in?” asked Adam smiling. Daceria looked away the toward Kallman and Forest in the tree house. She sighed as she shook her head yes. Adam smiled as he called a few others over including Keri.
“I didn’t think it would be this easy.” smiled Keri as the hunters tied her hands behind her back.
“Keri, may I have a last request?” asked Daceria.
“Sure, make your wish known then I shall take you to Kedro.” replied Keri.
“Leave my sister and Kallman alone. I’m the only one Kedro really wants.” Daceria responded.
“Hmm…I’ll see what I can do.” replied Keri. Kallman knew what he ad to do. He whispered to the wind.
“Save her, destroy the enemy.” whispered Kallman. Suddenly from out of the corner of the swamp came Charlie grabbing the two hunters that were holding Daceria and swallowed them whole. Keri was freaked out and all the hunters ran out of the swam like cowards. Kallman jumped out from the window and untied her.
“I told you I would protect you, and don’t worry they can’t kill me. Once I find Kedro he will pay for hurting Forest and you.” explained Kallman.
“Thank you Kallman.” smiled Daceria as she embraced him.
“No problem at all, you are family and I will always protect my family.” he replied. Daceria smiled.
“I will stay with you guys one more night but then I will return to my tree. I eventually will get over the death of my brother and be able to stand on my own two feet.” explained Daceria jumping up the tree into the tree house. Kallman followed behind her. Forest eagerly greeted them both with a great loving embrace.
“Sis, I’m so glad they didn’t take you. I hate the hunters.” retorted Forest bitterly.

“I understand your feelings but, unfortunately I have to live with the fact they destroyed my entire family and I’m the last of the silver wolfs. My children will not be pure silver, they will be mixed with the color of my mate’s fur. If I ever find a mate.” explained Daceria.
“Does that mean your giving up on Adam?” asked Forest.
“Yes, I loved him but it’s obvious that he’s a hunter and I am a rare wolf. I’m nothing more then Kedro’s pet in his mind.” explained Daceria.
“Good, now I won’t feel bad if I kill him.” stated Kallman. Daceria looked away not wanting to show Kallman her face when he said kill him.
“You love him, yet he doesn’t love you and yet you still want his pathetic life to be lived, even if he lives it as your enemy. Are you sure this is what you want to give up, when you are so close you can hear his heartbeat?” questioned Kallman.
“I…” Daceria thought about Kallman’s remarks. Kallman was very wise, straight forward to the point.
“You have a point, we all have been working hard on finding Adam and discovering his location. We’ve also tried to figure out how to turn him back. That potion he drank made him this way but no hunter has to be a hunter for life.’ she explained.
On the other hand Kedro had just dug a grave six feet deep. He had great pleasure in chaining Darkstorm in his coffin for eternity.
“Lower him.” commanded Kedro as the two hunters that stayed to drop the coffin and Darkstorm in it to the bottom of the pit.
Kedro spoke last words for Darkstorm as the hunters buried him. Once the burial was done Kedro left a red rose with a tag saying here lays Darkstorm.
“At last I am rid of one of them. The wanted list is finally getting shorter. Hey Keith come here.” commanded Kedro.
“Yes…sir?” asked Keith standing tall ready for anything.
“Does Daceria know who you are?” asked Kedro.
“I don’t think so sir, none of them know even my name.” replied Keith.
“Perfect.” smiled Kedro patting him on the shoulder.
“Say how do you feel about pretending to be friends with her?” asked Kedro.
“Sir, she doesn’t trust us humans. Have Kai do it.” replied Keith.
“Kai is a good suggest but I would rather have Kai with me, so he doesn’t resort back to being good.” explained Kedro.
“I feel she will think I am a hunter, honestly Kedro. Look at my broad shoulders she would suspect I was helping you.” explained Keith.
“Keith I am sending you because I can’t send Adam. Now, get going but do not return without Daceria in your grasp.” commanded Kedro.
Keith started to run as he stepped over the many bones that were in the land of the dead. He kept running and running until he collided with someone. Keith fell backwards onto the ground as he looked up and could not believe his eyes.

“Hello, hunter. Why are you in such a hurry?” asked Ace. Keith was silent for he could not believe what he was seeing.
“Your…your…supposed to be…dead.” shouted Keith. Ace clapped his hand over Keith’s mouth.
“You really don’t want to hurt anyone. You were once a normal man, until he came and killed your parents.” explained Ace as he removed his hand.
“How. Do you know?” asked Keith still shocked over the face Ace the king of wolves was alive.
“I’ve been watching the hunters from behind the scenes. I watched Kedro destroy my word but yet he cannot kill the legacy of my family. The one I knew Kedro couldn’t have the heart to kill, the one I named after myself Daceria.” explained Ace.
“But why would you hide the fact that you’re alive from your only family?” demanded Keith.
“I had too, for with me around she would not have come as far. I hid it, to protect her. I am sad that I have lost my son to Kedro’s blade, but I know that was his fate. That fate will strengthen my daughter and make her determined to defeat Kedro for good, for he is the true evil.” explained Ace.
“What is she do you, a daughter or just a legacy that you want passed on?” asked Keith angry at Ace. At least Keith’s parents had raised him until that dreadful day.
“She is both, if I would have stayed we both would have suffered the fate of Darkstorm, death by the blade.” explained Ace.
“So why are you telling me all this, shouldn’t you be worried that I would tell Kedro you are alive. That alone would set his soul on fire.” explained Keith.
“Because, I see deep down you don’t wish to serve Kedro. You just feel it’s your only choice because he destroyed your family. If you had not you thought he would kill you as well.” explained Ace.
“So your not afraid of Kedro?” asked Keith.
“If I was I would still be in hiding but I have realized something which made me come out of my well faked death. My daughter she is the light of this world. The one who will destroy the darkness that Kedro has created.” explained Ace.
“Darkness what are you talking about?” asked Keith now really interest in what the wise wolf had to tell him .Keith did not want to tell Kedro of Ace if Kedro was the reason for all the misfortune so many had suffered.
“Come with me and I shall tell you.” replied Ace. Keith did not refused, he followed Ace all the way to the mountain lands.
“No one but myself knows my location but I Trust that you won’t tell Kedro that I’m alive.” explained Ace as they began to climb the mountain.

The mountain was huge and very steep it took all of Keith’s strength to keep up with the king Ace. Ace was in his human form, he was about six foot two, probably weighed around two hundred pounds. He had silk silver hair with silver ears. Keith wasn’t much taller but he still had great respect fro the king of wolves.
“Ace I have a question.” spoke Keith as they continued to walk up the steep mountain.
“Ask away.” replied Ace.
“How did Kedro create the darkness and why can only your daughter destroy it?” asked Keith.
“Simple after the death of his eldest brother Manikai, Kedro dedicated his life to destroying demons of all kinds. To this day he is trying to get his vengeance for I am the one who killed his brother. Now Daceria is my daughter and he is the brother of Manikai. Darkness and light.
“Wow, I never thought that Kedro used to be a good guy. He never mentioned his brother to any of us hunters. Do you possibly know the reason?” asked Keith.
“Hmm..no I don’t know. Kedro has become wicked and preverted, he must be stopped before..he kills all the demons.” replied Ace. They arrived at the top of the mountain where there was a cave off to the right, that led into the mountain. Once inside the mountain there were thousands of wolves sleeping on ridges everywhere. Ace changed to his wolf form as he howled and all of them awoke and saw the human. Their eyes went red with fury, Ace calmed them down as he howled that the human was welcome. All the wolves bowed to their king. One of them went to him, a female wolf, with marking indicating she was the Alpha’s mate.
“Ace you have returned, did you find your daughter?” asked the wolf.
“Not yet, but Keith here is going to bring her here.” smiled Ace nudging against Keith. Keith understood as he waved goodbye and went on his way back down the mountain. He didn’t know where to even to begin to find her but once he did what would his decision be? To continue to serve Kedro or to change his ways and follow Ace’s plan to destroy Kedro and the darkness once and for all. Keith remembered the dreadful day his parents were killed.
He was no older than ten and his dad was a famous carpenter and his mother was a normal house wife. He had been in his bedroom when it happened but he could remember the whole thing. The hunters had barged in accusing his father of treachery and stealing. His mother tried to stop them but they had no mercy. They took both their life’s and searched the house. Once they found him the leader commanded them to keep him alive.
Keith continued down the mountain and saw the forest ahead. Once he found her he would have to make a choice. Hunter or friend.

On the other hand Daceria had just been embraced by Forest had wished the best of luck from Kallman. Daceria carefully left the tree house as Kallman safely took her to the forest entrance. He gave her a quick hug and disappeared back into his swamp.
Keith jumped out in front of her slowly and he spoke.
“Your father is alive.” spoke Keith.
“You lie, you are a hunter, you are the reason my father is dead. Kedro sent you t trick me but it’s not going to work.” replied Daceria. Keith didn’t know what to say he was stunned.
“I am telling the truth. How can I prove it?” he asked.
“Honestly I would never believe it, until I saw it with my own very eyes. You’re a liar.” snapped Daceria.
“Please understand, Daceria I do not wish to work for Kedro any longer. I was forced to for he killed my parents. “explained Keith. “Do you believe me now?”
Daceria thought for a brief moment, was this true? If it was where was her father and why had he avoided coming with Keith?
“I believe you please take me to him.” replied Daceria.
“He lives in the mountains with a pack of wolves. I t will take us a while to get there.” said Keith.
“It doesn’t matter how long it takes, I want to see him.” she replied. Keith shook his head as he lead the way.
A group of black wolfs were gathered at the base of the mountain. The leader was waiting patiently for the return of Keith. He had waited years to find her. She was the chosen one Daceria. He would kidnap her and hold her for ransom to see who would pay the most money for her.
Zek was their leader followed by his mate Rachel. Zek remembered the days before Daceria’s arrival. Zek always thought one of his clan would be chosen but Ace had chosen a half breed. Suddenly, he started to remember the good ole days.
“Ace, who will you choose to carry on our legacy?” asked Zek.
“I will know when I see him or her. Please do not think of it anymore. I will decide on the next full moon.” replied Ace.
“Yes sir.” he bowed as he retreated to his clan. A clan of pure black wolves who had been allowed to join Ace’s clan of silver wolfs. On the night of the full moon a baby was born. Ace’s mate a mere human had given birth to a half breed. He named her Daceria after the light of the moon.
That is when Ace held her for the first time and as he looked at her, he glanced at us.
“I have made my decision.” he announced.
“My daughter shall take on our legacy!” he smiled. That is when I decided that our clan would leave forever and that one day we would have our revenge against king of wolves. We would take his greatest treasure, we would take away his only daughter.
On the other hand Keith had lead Daceria to the mountain entrance and they were surrounded by a pack of black wolves. Daceria hid behind Keith when the leader stepped forward.
“Give her to us and we will let you live.” smiled Zek.
“I have a mission and I will not let a pack of wolves stop me.” replied Keith withdrawing his sword.
“Come on, I dare you. You want her, you have to get through me first.” he grinned.
They attacked all at once except for Zek who watched tem pile onto the demon hunter. Keith used his strength to tear the wolves off his body as he back flipped behind them and struck his sword at them. A few of them fell to the ground but there were plenty more to fight off. Out of nowhere a group of gray wolves appeared starting to tear apart the black wolves. Ace stepped out in front of Zek.
“So your still after her. By rights I should kill you but that would be too easy. Instead I’ll let her decide your faith.” he smiled.
Keith and the gray wolves stood tall among the dead bodies. Daceria embraced Keith and looked to the last remaining black wolf in human form. He was chained by Ace. Daceria looked at her father whom she had never seen before. She ran to him and embraced him.
“Father, I’ve waited for the day when I would finally meet you.” cried Daceria.
“Daceria my daughter I have missed you. The last time I seen you, you were only a baby. Now you’re all grown up, it’s just amazing.” replied Ace looking into her eyes deeply.
“Why father why did you have to hide pretending you were dead?” asked Daceria.
“We’ll talk about that when we get to my house within the mountains. Now what would you like to do with our prisoner?” asked Ace.
“Um.. He is the leader right? I say put him in jail until he realizes he was wrong. Then let him go.” replied Daceria.
“Okay, then jail it is.” smiled Ace. Keith walked over and began to take Zek to Ace’s home.
“Hey Ace how far until we get there?” asked Keith.
“I’d say about a one day’s walk why?” asked Ace.
“Kedro will get impatient if I’m gone for too long.” replied Keith.
“Don’t go back to him, stay and be one of the pack. Let him think your dead as he thinks I’m dead. Be one of us.” Ace offered holding out his hand in friendship.
Keith accepted it and as he did Daceria gave him a kiss on the cheek. They started up the mountain as a family. A family of a father, a daughter, and a demon hunters. And of course their prisoner Zek. The moon began to rise in the night sky. It was a lunar eclipse. They continued to walk up the mountain throughout the night. The gray wolves were trailing steady behind them guarding the princess. Finally they arrived inside the mountain the view within was so beautiful it was beyond belief. The waterfall in the background the beauty of the gray wolves among the cliffs. Daceria was finally home.
“Welcome home princess.” a wolf said from the shadows. He was a male wolf. “It’s good to see the clan reforming. We will take down Kedro once and for all.” the wolf smiled as he turned to his human form.
“Daceria, now that you are old enough I ask you to pack your mate by the next full moon. I think Hunter here would be a suitable mate, for he too is a half demon.” explained Ace.
“Father, what happens if I don’t choose a mate?” asked Daceria.
“You must pick a mate or be like our prisoner and not be part of the clan. I hated the court’s decision but I must listen to them if I wish to keep the fact, I’m alive a secret from the demon hunters. Especially Kedro if he found out I was alive it would mean the end of our clan. Daceria, I will not be alive forever and I need you t mate with a wolf within our clan.” explained Ace.
“What if I wanted to mate with a human?” asked Daceria.

“A human, how could you possible even think of doing something so outrageous! Humans are the reason, I’m forced to fake my death, while I’m actually alive!” yelled Ace furious by his daughter’s words.
“Who is this human and why is he more worthy than a half-breed like Hunter?” questioned Ace.
“His name is Adam. He is more important because he gave his life to save me from the hunters. Now, Kedro has him and it’s my job to stop the hunters and get Adam back to normal.” explained Daceria.
“A human caring for a demon? I wish to meet this human. Please, spend some time with Hunter, you may find him more worthy to marry than a human.” explained Ace letting Hunter step in front of him. Hunter was almost six foot tall, blondish brownish hair spiked and a bandanna around his arm that was black. His gray wolf ears were proof that Daceria and her father were truly the last of the silver wolves. As much as Daceria didn’t want to hang with Hunter, she knew she had to. She only had a few weeks until the court made their final decision.
“Hello, Daceria I know you don’t necessarily like me but, could we at least try to be friends for your father’s sake?” questioned Hunter.
“Sure…whatever you say.” answered Daceria following Hunter deep within the hideout of the mountains.
The scenery was like no other. The waterfall in the background. Ledges filled with wolves and at the top ledge was a house, which she assumed belong to her father. Never know when the hunters would travel through the mountain areas, and yet never find this secret location packed full of rare gray wolfs.
Hunter walked over to the waterfall and sat on the ground behind it. “Daceria would you like to join me here by the falls?” asked Hunter.
“Um…Sure.” she replied as she went to sit beside him What Daceria couldn’t understand was why her father wanted her to be with this guy. This was a guy she didn’t even know. She knew there was no way to be with Adam because he was a demon hunter now and forever but no mattered what he remained in her heart. She knew she would have to try at the very least she would try for her father.
“So, Daceria how old are you?” asked Hunter sitting beside her.
“I’m twenty years old, you?” asked Daceria.
“Me, I’m twenty-three years old. I feel old but hey I still got my looks.” replied Hunter happily. Daceria was starting to seriously wonder about this guy. Did he care more about himself than her? Daceria wished she could turn back time and have stopped Adam from sacrificing himself that day to save her. She missed him, she missed his smile, his voice, she missed him. Daceria sighed to herself.
“Daceria is something wrong?” asked Hunter concerned. “Oh, it’s nothing I just miss an old friend of mine.” she replied.
“Your brother?” he asked. Then it hit her, she missed not only Adam but her only brother Darkstorm. She started crying her eyes started to pour teardrops down her face. Hunter saw this and took her into his arms.
“Daceria, I know what he meant to you, but please don’t cry. Your brother died saving you, he wanted to protect you from the demon hunters. He protected the legacy, you must realize you are the only one in the family who can perform spells. Plus, you need to remember he is in a better place, heaven.” explained Hunter soothing Daceria.
Slowly her tears stopped and Hunter continued to hold her in his arms. She had almost forgotten what it felt like to be held like this. This embrace was not only caring but loving. She snuggled in closer to his chest and started to fall asleep.
Ace was not far off and could see the two wolfs embracing behind the waterfall. Ace smiled as he walked into his house and turned out the lights.

Meanwhile Kedro was getting very impatient. Keith had been gone far too long, had Daceria figured out Kedro’s plans? Kedro paced back and forth in his bedroom trying to think. How in the world would he capture Daceria for good? He took away her boyfriend and turned him against her, he had killed her brother, but still he had no Daceria to show for his efforts. Kedro was extremely angry, all this for nothing! He had destroyed everything she had to value, and yet she still ran from him. He had to corner her, make a trap that was one hundred percent escape proof but what would he create? Kedro knew of only one way to solve his problem, he would ask the other hunters, surely they would have good suggestions. He laid down in his bed and fell asleep, excited for the next day.
On the other hand Kallman and Forest were in the tree house. Kallman was laying on the couch and Forest in his arms.
“I love you Kallman.” smiled Forest cuddling in his arms.
“I love you too.” he replied. “Forest where do you come from?” he asked.
“I don’t know my sister found me when I was a baby. I don’t even know if I have any family.” she replied.
“Hmm.. Okay, myself I have my brother Kai. You know I haven’t seen him for the longest time.” Kallman asked himself.
“I have no idea maybe he found a girl wolf to hang out with. “suggested Forest remembering how she met Kallman, it had seemed like just yesterday.
“Want to go look for him in the morning?” asked Kallman.
“Sure why not.” she smiled.
“Okay then, first thing in the morning we’ll head out to the forest and look for my brother.
The sun arose as everyone prepared for the new day. Kallman had just awoken and get up to his feet quickly. He went to his room and awoke Forest.
“Hey, cutie time to go find Kai.” he smiled kissing her lips. Forest yawned as she got up and dressed. Shortly afterwards they carefully walked through the swamp. Kallman directed Forest around all the quicksand and tar. Forest saw the forest in the distance and thoughts of her sister filled her mind, where was she? Where was the hunter who claimed to be good? Most importantly was she safe.

On the other hand Daceria had awoken in Hunter’s arms. She quickly got up and went outside. The wolves were gone and only her father remained. Daceria went to him.
“Father what’s going on?” asked Daceria worried.
“The wolves went to get food, my dear here there is no danger, so don’t be afraid.” replied Ace embracing his daughter. “Oh and remember you have exactly two days left to find a mate or else be forced to leave the clan.”
“Father I don’t love Hunter, I love Adam!” yelled Daceria stomping away. Hunter went to Ace.
“What should I do sir?” he asked.
“I honestly don’t know. Myself I can’t understand why she loves this Adam, he’s a human for heaven’s sake!”
“I know, I comforted her last night but yet she wants her enemy!” replied Hunter. Ace and Hunter went together to talk to Daceria about changing her mind.
The hunters gathered around in the heart of the forest. Kai was among them wearing the hunter’s uniform. Kallman and Forest were watching them from a distance.
“Is that…?” whispered Forest.
“Yes, that is my brother but why would Kedro turn him evil?” Kallman whispered back.
“I don’t know but, we have to save him.” replied Forest. Forest looked at Kai who was slowly walking toward Kedro. She knew this couldn’t be good. Kedro had not only Adam but Kai as well. She knew the worse was yet to come, she embraced Kallman and whispered a protection spell.
“Sir, I have a plan.” explained Kai as he now faced Kedro.
“Okay, then let’s hear it.” replied Kedro. The hunters listened and Forest and Kallman were shocked.
“If every time, that we trick her it doesn’t work it will not be easy to trick her. You must send as many hunters as possible to capture her but let Adam be the one to bring her to you.” Kai explained. Kedro was impressed he himself had never even thought of such a pal. Kedro and the others clapped at Kai’s proposal.
“Remember Kai, what will happen if your plan fails.” smirked Kedro.
“Yes sir, I understand that I must not fail you.” he replied.
Forest and Kallman were still watching from a distance how would they be able to save Kai? If it was the lipstick that turned him, they would have to find Kai’s true love. Forest knew very well that they were lucky that Adam was Daceria’s true love.
“What should we do now?” whispered Forest.
“I don’t know maybe if he could remember me, just maybe that would turn him good again.” replied Kallman.
“And if it doesn’t?” she asked.
“Then I too will become a slave of Kedro.” he replied.
“I can’t lose you. I love you too much to lose you now.” she cried. Kallman hushed her knowing very well he had to at least try to save his brother from Kedro’s grasp. It was risky, dangerous and life threatening just the way Kallman liked things as a challenge of strength and determination.
In a sense, Forest could understand Kallman’s feelings, if her sister was in Kedro’s grasp, she would do anything to save her. As badly as she didn’t want Kallman to risk it, she knew she couldn’t convince him otherwise.
“Kallman before you go, I want you to know that I love you with all my heart.” whispered Forest giving him a quick kiss as he disappeared into the forest. Forest would wait for him and she had to warn her sister of the attack. She quickly rushed away from the hunters hideout, as she looked up and to no surprise it was Keri. Forest growled as she stood up, her claws sharpened.
“I wouldn’t do that if I were you.” she smiled as she allowed Kai in front of her. Forest was glad it wasn’t Kallman but soon Kedro and the other surrounded her. She had no other option. She put her claws away and went straight to Kai. Kai quickly tied her up without second thoughts.
“Take her to see him.” smirked Kai as Forest was taken to the dungeon. Kallman was there in chains. Forest was thrown in the cell beside him. Kallman opened his eyes.
“Forest are you okay?” he asked.
“Yes, I’m fine but how did they know I was here?” she asked.
“They saw me and amused that you weren’t far off.” he replied.
“What will they do with us?” she asked.
“They will sell you but, they will kill me at sunset.” he responded.
“No!” she cried going as close to has she could to him.
“I can’t lose you! I just can’t lose you!” she cried. Kai came in and looked at them.
“Okay Kallman it is time.” said Kai as a merge of hunters gathered. Kedro went into his cell and asked.
“Any last words my boy?” he smirked.
“Yes, Forest I love you and please kill this b*****d for me I’m sorry I have failed you. Kai, even though you are Kedro’s now, you are still my brother. It was worth this trying to save you.” replied Kallman.
“Okay then it is time.” said Kedro. Kedro led Kallman out of his cell and into the hands of the hunters.
“Kai, I want you to execute him personally.” smirked Kedro.
“Yes sir!” he bowed as he took his brother and the crowd of hunters out of the dungeon. Kedro looked to Forest who was crying her face to the bars, as she watch helplessly as they took her love away from her.
“Now, my dear there is only one left Daceria.” smiled Kedro as he was finally winning, soon Daceria would be his forever.
“You’ll never have my sister. She knows your trickery and will be able to stop you.” growled Forest as her tears dried. Now filled with a hateful rage she and her sister would escape Kedro and live in peace once again. She thought to herself, everything had been perfect until Kedro showed up. Forest at least hoped somehow that her sister was safe and loved.

Daceria was in her hut trying to stay away from her father and the whole being forced to pick a mate in just two days. Hunter was a nice guy but he was no Adam.
Adam was the first person to ever show Daceria just how special she was. No matter how evil Adam had become he would always be in her heart. Hunter just couldn’t take his place. Hunter entered the hut in his human form, his ears and tail a sign he was of the family line. He was half silver and half grey. Obviously he was Ace’s nephew or cousin. Hunter was twenty three tall and good looking but there was just one thing missing, he wasn’t who Daceria wanted. Hunter walked up to her cautious.
“I understand how you feel.” spoke Hunter.
“How could you even begin to understand what I’ve been threw?” screamed Daceria.
“Because believe it or not I have been there quite a few times.” he explained.
“You know nothing of what it’s like to watch the one you love, give you away to the hunters.” she cried. Hunter embraced her and began to tell his story.
“I did not grow up in this clan .When I was just a baby, I was kidnapped by demon hunters. At the age of five, I escaped their torture and met your father. He saw the silver blood within me and let me join the clan.
“That doesn’t sound anything like what I’ve been threw.” growled Daceria slipping out of his arms.
“I wasn’t finished. I too had a girl I loved. Her name was Casey and I loved her with all my heart but she betrayed the clan by telling our location. She eventually was exiled and killed by the hunters. As for the clan, Kedro know knew where we were, so we had to move but not all of us made it. You weren’t born at the time so that’s why you never heard the story.
“Oh.” replied Daceria. It seemed she had more in common with Hunter then she had imagined. Daceria looked into his green eyes and then back again. Would Ace really force her to marry someone she didn’t love. He was a nice guy but she just couldn’t give up now. She had come so far to save Adam from Kedro and she wasn’t giving up the fight.
On the other hand Kedro had found the mountains. He saw Ace standing at the entrance. His mouth dropped open as he saw Keith standing next to him, sword in hand ready to fight.
“How dare he betray me! I can’t believe this. Ace is supposed to be dead!” growled Kedro. Then form out of the shadows stood the clan of wolves united. There were at least five hundred of them bearing their fangs toward Kedro and his hunters. Hunter himself was inside protecting Daceria. He knew Ace and the wolves could handle Kedro and his hunters.
“Daceria, I will take you out the back way to safety.” explained Hunter holding out his hand.
“No, I’m not going to run from Kedro anymore. I’m going to my father to help him defend the clan.” she replied fleeing away before Hunter could try to stop her. Daceria wasn’t afraid of Kedro or the hunters and it was time they learned that. She stood in between Ace and Keith. She looked down and sure enough there was Kedro. His eyes were red, the color of evil. She also saw Adam standing next to him and she knew she would have to fight him, for Kedro would send him after her and suddenly Hunter clasped her hand growling and setting his sights on Adam.
“No worries, I’ll handle him, you focus on getting out of here.” growled Hunter.
“No, I refuse to run from Kedro anymore. I will fight him and I will win.” Daceria growled back. Hunter shook his head as he understood. Seconds later Adam stood face to face with Daceria. No words were spoken. Daceria knew she couldn’t beat him in physical combat, but she knew she could beat him with her scroll without killing him. She grasped her scroll tight as the spells came to her.
Adam attacked but hit nothing. She had put up a barrier. Then she came at him with claws to the gut. He groaned in pain and struck her in the side, still he missed. Daceria whisper “Ace cas a spear.” She sent him flying as he hit the ground unconscious. She went to him, he was alive barely. She kissed him gently.
Out of nowhere she was tackled to the ground. A shot was fired and then she looked up and saw Hunter.
“We must hurry to safety otherwise the hunters will take us.”
“I told you, I’m not running away anymore!” she stood up and walked straight into the battle. Wolves vs. hunters. She saw her father fighting Kedro and then she remembered her brother. He had died protecting her from Kedro. Why was it that Kedro wanted her so badly?
She ran quickly as she braced herself for the fight of her life Everything depended on her, she was Kedro’s target, she knew Kedro would kill Ace. She ran up the mountain as fast as her feet would carry her. She now stood in front of her father looking straight at Kedro. Daceria knew Kedro would never do anything to harm her, and it was about time she showed him she wasn’t afraid of anything especially him.
“Move.” demanded Kedro sword in hands ready to kill the wolf of legends.
“No, I will not lose another member of my family. If you want my father you have to go through me first.” growled Daceria now drawing her sword in defense.
“Fine, have it your way.” smirked Kedro as he struck her in the chest. Daceria was caught off guard and fell into her father’s arms.

“You b*****d, I’ll kill you!” growled Hunter as he struck Kedro from behind but Kedro had moved and Hunter fell into the dirt. Ace had managed to carry Daceria away from Kedro. Ace muttered a spell and the blood vanished from Daceria’s shirt, she was healed.
Daceria looked at her father, they were safe within the mountains. Had Kedro given up? Where were all the other wolves
“Father..” was all she said as she was hushed by her father’s hand.
“You need rest, the hunters have delayed their attack but know Kedro will return. We need to go somewhere he won’t find us. Daceria you must answer, if Kedro gets a hold of our magic, the entire world will hang in the balance. I’m too old for him to take it, but I have a feeling your body is not the only thing he’s after.” explained Ace.
Daceria was confused. Kedro after the magic of their family but why? Daceria had always thought Kedro wanted her for sex but could he also be after the legacy of the magic?
“Father, I have to know. I have to know the real reason Kedro and the hunters tried to kill us so many years ago.” questioned Daceria.
“Not Kedro, his older brother Manikai. Seriously Darkstorm told you of his betrayal to the clan. He told you why we called him Darkstorm. When Manikai learned that he was part of our clan, he decided that we couldn’t be trusted. That if Darkstorm attacked the village the rest of us would. Therefore Manikai and the other hunters attacked us. Your mother was able to hid you within a sacred tree, where Darkstorm found you. I remember him telling me how sorry he was, that he didn’t realize the dangers he had caused us to suffer. In my mind I forgave him, but in my heart I hated him to the point where I vanished him from the clan. I told him, if he and you were ever to meet, that he not tell you who he really was. He was the destruction of our clan. He is the reason behind the loss of the silver wolves. It is up to you my daughter to fix this mess, I cannot come with you, you must take this journey on your own. I have saved you from Kedro but I will not be around much longer, I am old and too weak to defeat him. You need to find a strong wolf who can take Kedro down for good.” explained Ace starting to cry. It was finally time for him to let his daughter go, he hated to see her go, but in his heart he knew she was the one who would carry on the legacy of the silver wolves.

“Kai please don’t do this.” pleaded Kallman as his wrists were cuffed to the shooting wall. Kai looked at him and then went for the gun.
“Kai, remember how you defeated that demon to save Forest? I know you like her, and I know that you don’t want to pull that trigger. I’m your brother, your own flesh and blood. Please Kai, please don’t shoot.” cried Kallman. Tears rolled down his face and Kai watched as they hit the ground.
Kai got behind the gun and stationed himself as he fired two shots that broke Kallman free. Kallman smiled as he embraced his only brother.
“I knew Kedro couldn’t keep you evil, you are too strong to fall for his tricks.” smiled Kallman.
“Yeah, thanks Kallman.” replied Kai giving his older brother a hug. “Where’s Forest?”
“They have her locked up in one of their cells. We have to hurry.” said Kallman as Kai and himself ran to the rescue.
Meanwhile, Forest was thinking of how to escape and find her sister. Most likely Kallman was dead, and Kai was evil so she had to get out and warn Daceria about Kedro. She just prayed that she would get there before Kedro. She looked at Keri who was standing guard in front of the cell. Forest wished she could get out, just so she could teach Keri a thing or two. Forest growled at the thought. All of a sudden Forest saw Kallman and Kai at the entrance. Keri saw them and braced herself for a fight.
“I’ll handle her, you get Forest.” remarked Kai. Kai bared his fangs as he sharpened his claws. Keri drew her sword and braced herself. There was no way, she would let them escape.
Suddenly Kallman felt a tap on his back, he turned around to discover himself and Kai surround by hunters. Kedro was the one who had tapped Kallman.
“Aren’t you supposed to be dead?” laughed Kedro. “Kill them.”
“Wait, sir I have given Kallman the potion. He’s on our side.” explained Kai.
“Hmph, fine but I want him in chains for now. I need to make sure your not lying to me.” smirked Kedro.
“That is not a problem but please put me in with Forest.” asked Kallman.
“Why?” asked Kedro.
“To make sure she doesn’t escape sir.” replied Kallman.
“Suit yourself. Bind him and throw him in with the girl.” demanded Kedro. The guards did as he said and bond Kallman in chains and then put him in Forest’s cell. Afterwards they left with Kai who winded to his brother.
“Kallman, I’m so glad you’re all right.” spoke Forest nudging against him. She took her claws and broke the ropes binding her.
“Do they have her?” asked Kallman.
“No, they don’t have my sister.” replied Forest.
“She is the only hope. Kai will not be able to get us out of this mess if Kedro thinks he’s evil.” explained Kallman.
“I know, I just hope that she can save us, she is just one person.” replied Forest.
“Yes, one person with a scroll and the ability to cast magic. She is the legacy of her clan and I know she’ll be here no matter what the odds.” spoke Kallman. He didn’t know Daceria that well, but the inner strength he sensed within was strong, very strong. Somehow Kallman knew Daceria could defeat Kedro and the hunters if she learned all of her scroll’s spells and how they worked.
“Trust me, Forest she will be here. Your sister would never let Kedro hurt anyone else close to her, especially you.” explained Kallman.
“Thanks Kallman, I just hope wherever she is, that she is safe and loved.

On the other hand, Daceria had just left the mountains. She had said her goodbyes to the clan for she would not marry Hunter when she loved Adam. Silently she walked down the mountain and as she did, she thought of her brother. Despite what he did in the past, he had sacrificed everything in the future to save her.
Daceria wished there was some way she could bring him back, but she had no idea where his body was. It could be anywhere in the village, the forest, the swamp, or even the mountains where she was now. She kept climbing her way down as swamp reminded her of Kallman and her sister Forest. Were they safe or had Kedro captured them out of anger? Daceria was truly worried about them so she decided to take out her scroll. The easiest way to the swamp was through teleporting. Darkstorm had explained to her that she could only teleport to places she had been before and she had b been to the swamp a few times. She looked up at the sky and the sun was setting, she knew about the bugs, she would travel the mountains and find a resting spot for the night, soon she would be united with Forest, the only one Kedro hadn’t taken from her. Daceria had a bad feeling, would Kedro turn Kallman evil and take Forest hostage? She found a cave near the bottom of the mountain and she recognized it, this was where she had found Forest as a baby. Daceria entered the cave and found a soft spot, she soon fell asleep.
“How am I going to get Daceria? She keeps on escaping me, every time I try to take her and now Adam is injured!” shouted Kedro.
“Sir we do have good news, we have caught Ace and the other wolves.” the hunters replied.
“Ace. You say. Bring him to me in chains.” commanded Kedro.
“Yes sir!” they shouted as they went to retrieve Ace from his holding cell. Once there Ace was put in chains and taken to Kedro.
“Honestly Ace, did you think for one second that I wouldn’t discover that you were still alive? This time I will personally kill you.” smiled Kedro.
“I don’t give a crap, Kedro. First you disgrace demons all over the world by helping humans. Second you only care about yourself, the wanted list is not important as long as you can sleep with Daceria. Finally you destroyed her life so you could have the ability to cast magic. You are sick, demented and I hate you.” explained Ace not even trying to break free of his bindings.
“Kill me, go ahead it doesn’t matter in the end my daughter will defeat you.” smirked Ace.
Kedro just glared at him and then to the other wolves. Kedro had an evil idea.
“Okay, I won’t kill you but every hour that you don’t tell me where your daughter is, I will kill one of your new clan starting with him.” Kedro explained pointing to Hunter.
“After all Ace you both are silver and I will destroy all possible mates for your daughter and then she will have no other choice but me.” smirked Kedro.
Ace did not say a word, he muttered a spell in his head to warn Daceria of their current danger.
“Kedro has your friends and myself and the wolves. He plans to kill one wolf every hour he doesn’t know where you are. We are in the land of the dead, it’s on the other side of the mountain lands, Daceria you must be safe. Learn your scroll completely and save your friends, unfortunately I will not make it out of this.”

Daceria awoke to the message in fright. Kedro now had a hold of all the aces, there was no way she could avoid it. She had to go to the land of the dead. She had climbed all the way down the mountain and who knew how long it would take her. She used her teleport spell and was on top of the mountain again. Mountains and more mountains. She smelt the scent of blood and bones. She saw a fortress beyond the mountains. She had to get there as quickly as she could for the sake of those close to her. She started her way down the mountain.
Daceria wanted so badly for this to be over, she should have never left her tree. She had been safe there, until Adam came alone. She had sworn never to trust humans after her experience with Kedro and yet she had fallen in love with Adam and now Adam was out to capture her at all costs. She remembered how he held her, and told her that he loved her. Daceria clenched her fists as she headed toward the land of the dead. Kedro’s fortress looked huge even from far away. Daceria grasped her scroll and used a speed spell. She ran quickly down the mountain and stopped when she saw a rose with Darkstorm’s name. It was just at the entrance of the land of the dead and she got down on her knees and started to cry, holding the rose close to her chest.
“Oh Darkstorm, I miss you so much. Kedro has taken away everything I ever cared about. Darkstorm you were the closest thing I ever had to family. I wish I could still have you around but I understand that you died to protect me from Kedro. Darkstorm, I never had the chance to say goodbye to you. Darkstorm, you have served the family and myself well. I hope you are happy wherever you are and I promise I will defeat Kedro in your honor. I don’t know how but I will defeat him. I will learn all the spells on my scroll and I will go to his fortress and save my friends. I guess this is goodbye brother.” cried Daceria kissing the rose and giving her final respects to the only blood family she ever had.
“Hey, girl why are you talking to a rose?” a guy asked. Daceria went to the strange guy after leaving Darkstorm to rest.
“I was not talking to a rose I was talking to my brother who was killed by the demon hunters.” explained Daceria crossing her arms.
“Sorry, I didn’t know. My name is Victor and Leta is around here somewhere. What is your name?” he asked.
“My name is Daceria. I’m on a mission to save my friends from Kedro’s fortress.” she explained.
“You know Kedro?” asked Victor.
