I must say, the whole "scene craze" is sweeping the nation, don't you think.? like, every highschool now, instead of the usual, excuse my labeling, "preps", you see "scenes"
DISCUSS- -insane crazes. -"scene" -labels(prep,goth,jock,etc.)
(p.s., this is my first well. topic here and, tell me if it goes well. i didn't know what else to type here, so i just did that. ^^.)

I like some elements of "scene," but I totally fail to care about the "craze." That said, high school is uber-fail and I require that cliques remain in high school, where I left them. I didn't study as much as I did so that the same insipid crap could follow me through the rest of my life.

Makes me think of The Ungroundable, although I'm not sure "scene kids" are included.

2005 called - They say shut the ******** up and get your own rants.
Seriously - Scene is over and is going nowhere fast to hell. In a v****a.

Sanzoskitsune is it sad or a good thing that I don't even remember what scene is? Scene is emo with 80's glam hair. That's how I see it anyway.
Being not in high school, though...I haven't seen either in ages. Let us bless being old~

You know what I love? I love when kids in school see something that's really big or popular in their school and think it must be nation wide.

It happened with yoyos.
Seriously though guys, what the heck is 'scene'? Doesn't that just stand for whatever is most popular at the time?

Recognizing Scene Kids Scene kids are on the surface basically just emo kids. But don't day that to their face, they don't like it. The main difference between emos and scene kids is that, scene kids tend to care more about their appearance than their actual emotions; a major faux pas in the emo community. Scene kids are a lot less depressed and a lot more...neon. From http://www.luv-emo.com/scene-kids.html Compare to Hipsters. Which are basically just adult scenesters...

Apparently within the last year all the emo kids at my high school turned into scene kids. Apparently. I wouldn't know since I haven't set foot in that godforsaken building since I graduated. =D
